I searched around but I can't find Rigel's primary elements.
Rigel has all the primary elements. But you don’t need to have all the elements present in the breeding pair. As long as the parents are Galaxy dragons (and you own all the Galaxy dragons), Rigel can be bred.
None of the mystery eggs guarantee a dragon you don't own (except the login rewards), but the chrysalis eggs today only contain the original 7 chrysalis dragons and none of the new ones.
Oh, that’s very interesting. After the last Chrysalis Egg of Mystery debacle, you’d think they’d add last month’s Chrysalis dragons to the eggs and avoid the confusion again. Especially since the new Chrysalis dragons, or at least Pearlescent, have been available in the regular mystery eggs purchasable in the Rift market.

PSA: If you need Rigel, go for that first. It is only available for around a week. Koala all. 🐨
Rigel’s breeding hint suggests it’ll be here for the duration of BEB. Is this an error? I don’t see any indication of an early departure. Perhaps I’ll ask Backflip to be sure, because there’s no reason for Rigel to ditch BEB early when all the other dragons are happily sticking around.
The Rigel hint was updated, it was stating 7 days yesterday. They probably handled many questions about it on social media and fixed the time to the correct length. Galaxy dragons have their own 'BeB' event, and they likely forgot to update the time from the last starfall.
I hear back from Backflip. They’re on the ball! Initially, Rigel was going to be released for a week, but they decided to make Rigel available for the duration of BEB instead. So thankfully, Riggy isn’t going anywhere. I also asked about the Hidden Stardust in our parks. If Rigel is going to hang around, will the dust continue all month too? The Hidden Stardust will still be turned off in a week.
That's good news, it raises the odds of getting one significantly. If you breed through 10k each day, then the odds jump more than double that you'll get one with the added time - from around 40 percent to around 85. Still going to be bad for those in the last 15 percent though, where I usually live.
Just got Rigel first try (Glimmerwing + Glimmerwing). Took awhile to kick in that I actually bred one and now breathing fire again. Meanwhile I've been trying to breed a 2nd Pearlescent (Bought first one) and nothing but duds ever since it was released. Just how the game works sometimes.

You know all those excess Trinket/Gift/Regift/Coal eggs from Christmas? I finally cleared out my social menu of them and found that by selling them for Dragoncash they gave me some nice Gaia Juice. I managed to get about 50k out of them and leveled up to a 14% speed up
Do you think that the time reduction will max at 20% to match with the reduced time in the breeding caves (upgraded normal and island)?
20% would make it match the breeding cave upgrades. After that you will struggle to keep the nursery occupied and remember that we apparently get an extra nursery slot at some upgrade level too!

Do you have all the Galaxy dragons in the rift, or just some form of every dragon? I have some form of each Galaxy, but not rift form of each, and am trying to figure out if it's worth trying to breed for me...
+1 on Pearlescent. At least the fails usually give good cash for selling, it's the only way I managed to scrape enough together to buy a half-price island.

You can have a combination of regular and Rift Galaxy dragons, or all regular Galaxy dragons. As long as you own at least one of each, you can breed Rigel. G’luck!
My third Galaxy Egg of Mystery gave me a Rigel dragon!!
Congratulations!
Yesterday, a player on Reddit stating s/he received Rigel on the first purchase of a Galaxy mystery egg. It appears Rigel is available in both the limited Galaxy Egg of Mystery and the regular mystery eggs. Very pleased with the changes Backflip has made to make Rigel more available.
Riggy is quickly becoming the easiest dragon to obtain by forum members. Congrats everyone!

Congrats on the good fortune! I bought 3 galaxy mystery eggs and got a solarflare and 2 sorarians...just more of my pitiful luck. At least they could have had the decency to not give me duplicates!

keep on when I was looking for Starwing or Glowwing in a Chrysalis egg I got 4 Swallowtils in a row (and I had already some of them) but I continued to buy Mystery eggs (though they get expensive soon) and finally got Glowing and Starwing and afterwards each other Chrysalis that I had not had in the rift at that time You'll get your Rigel sooner or later Koala

If you’re trying for Rigel, Sorarian + Sorarian is an outstanding combo. It has one of the lowest number of breed fails for Rigel. So if you can’t or don’t want to purchase any more mystery eggs, you still have a quality chance with good old-fashioned breeding.

Really? Wow, that's so cool! And here I was thinking the middle egg was a glitch. But then again I was going by the sandbox, and silly ole me forgot to check the BEB box when I began my search so whoopsies, my bad.
