The different dragon races and elements needed are as follows. Since many dragons have these elements and new dragons have been added since I last raced, and since you can now use an element filter at the race track, I won't list the dragons.
Ulster meadows: anything with both plant and earth Cherry road: earth, plant, fire Shimmering fault line: earth and lightning Blast furnace: fire and metal Dramoria: metal and cold Electric skies: lightning and air Rime or reason: cold and air Year of the dragon: earth, air, fire, water Marshlands:water, plant, and sometimes earth as well.
nance26 I don't remember where I found my chart but here is the recommended Dragons that I use and never fail me unless it's operator error;
Ulster = Tree Cherry = Sakura Shimmering = Any gemstone Blast = Forge Dramoria = Steel Electric Skies = Sonic Rime or Reason = Snow Year of the Dragon = Rainbow, sometimes I use Leap Year or DR for fun Marshlands = Seaweed
Hope that helps and koala to all for not only today but the weekend

Looking around and enjoying life!
All Dragons are safely in their habitats or in the HC

Thanks Rion and. Greg. I'd NEVER have thought of looking in the main iPad setting to sign out of the Game Center. I've signed out, deleted the game, signed back in and reinstalled it once, but still it wouldn't open, so now. I'm doing it again. At least I could get in on my iPhone to set up my next pair of fails for two of the new dragons, but if I can't play on my iPad, I'm quickly going to go blind!
Cecilia at the Duckpond
Hey Cecilia. I have similar problems logging into my park sometimes. Sometimes when I try to open it the loading screen will pop up, but the progress bar will not show up at all. I've found out a way to fix this.
Go to settings>general>reset (it's at the very bottom)>reset all settings
Now, this is going to mess with your phone somewhat. You'll keep all the pcitures, apps, contacts, and similar data on your phone. But it's going to forget some things. My phone lost it's background, the alarms I set, the wi-fi passwords it stored... Small things. You may want to look into what kinds of settings that will be reset to default before trying to reset your iPad. Hope this helps!
As myke said, GC is buggier. I never upgraded my iPads IOS. I never have trouble with GC on it. But when I got an iPhone it was already upgraded. I have had to reset my phone a couple times and decided that was ridiculous. I set different ring and text tones for different people so that it is easier to know who is calling me before I look. I did not appreciate losing all those settings in the reset. (Apple got a very low survey score from me because of that.) Since then, I have discovered something that I will pass along to you so that you can avoid some of the annoyances. I discovered that if I force-closed Game Center and all its apps then turned off my phone, when I turn it back on GC is usually working. I hope this info is helpful to somebody.

COLLECTION COMEBACK: All gemstone dragons and related decos are in the market now!
(except Ovalith)
Ok officially suffering from dizziness with all this excitement do we need to classify a new disease? On the down side it's made me recall just how hard some of these gem suckers are to get
I wanted to wish everyone a fond farewell. The game has been fun and the people on the forum great, but I had been thinking for a while that I needed to get on to other things. I had given myself a deadline of the end of the week to get this Lapis, or I would take it as a sign that I needed to leave. Then they put on the timer ending today. Needless to say, I didn't get the Lapis. I made 153 attempts including 17 Olys and 35 Crystals. With about 10 minutes left on the timer I bred 2 Olys. Now I'll get back to my sewing, knitting and gardening. Not to mention the volunteer work I do and the homescooling of my son. Thank you to everyone who has sent me gems, but please don't send any more.
So, does this mean that with the Comeback Collection they are trying to lure you back? Lapis is in the market until the end of the week now.

Wow I certainly wasn't expecting them to do something like this. I guess it's kind of like a mini Bring 'Em Back.
I wonder why
They are not at a discount, and avail for 2 days only We already have 5 new permanent dragons + Sprout + Jade + Emerald
Besides BeB, this is the only time that we have these many dragons avail to breed.
I'm going to guess that this mini Bring 'em Back was timed to go with the roll-out of the Dragonarium.
The thing I like most about Backflip Studios is that they always tend to do things win/win.
In this case they give us that fantastic new Dragonarium for free (win for us). The Dragonarium then encourages players to try even harder to get ALL the dragons -- even using gems to get them (win for BFS). Within just a day or so of the Dragonarium's release we've seen happy players spend up to 900 gems to complete their set. Now allowing people a few days to get the gemstone dragons they are missing will make those players happy, and the fact that the opening is only for a few days will make it more likely that players will use gems to get them. It works great for everyone. I really love that about this company.
Got my long awaited Aquamarine on my first try! So happy! I was actually considering not trying for any gemstones during this 'Collection Comeback', since it felt so short, but I decided to give it a try, and I was lucky!

Nope, I didn't tell her. Partly because I didn't think I would need to tell her. I was right. She dropped by to visit and saw the news. This "comeback" right after lapis left early makes me wonder a lot of things....
And by early I mean that last year jade came out on the 17th I believe, and lapis was introduced extremely late. Thus we had about 2 months for a 3 month gemstone.

What do you recommend as the best short fail gem dragons ie to give us most chances in 72 hours
A quick look at the sandbox, Topaz and Turquiose like pretty good for short fails and no super long fails.
(Looking forward to Bloodstone's expert advice)
Yes but already have those two come on Bloodstone we need your sage wisdom!
