I've got loads of plastic candy filled eggs to hide in the morning. And of course, the Easter Bunny will be leaving a basket. My kids are 5, so they are very excited. We got another Bloom and also our first Sun dragon.
Well it's certainly gotten quiet over there. I don't see much of anything though ... were there more posts being deleted?
Weeellll, Fletch, since you asked, lol, I posted on the new chit chat forum that I saw the tips and tricks thread had been closed yet again, and I EVEN said I wasn't going to comment further for fear of breaking the rules - and I made some other general comments not related to that. I got a PM saying my post was deleted and I had an infraction/warning not to question mods decisions. Seriously, so lame I would've gotten righteously upset if I thought it would make a difference, but I knew those people there were beyond reasoning with. And then I was very happy to see friendly PMs notifying me of this new home. ;D
Earlier in the day, it was closed for a very short time. I'm not sure what happened. In fact, I thought maybe I imagined it, but it was definitely closed when I tried to post, and another member made a comment about it, also.

Hi everyone!
VERY happy to be here, so many thanks (as always) to Shellee for the text giving me the heads up. I saw a bit of the other boards implosion and could not help but think it was pretty inevitable really. Shellee and I had discussed heading elsewhere LONG before now, especially after I had a particularly frustrating PM exchange with a Mod over my interpretation of their (frankly anal) signature rules, so I'm beyond pleased its finally happened. We didn't move earlier because we enjoyed the community there so much (and I doubt everyone would have moved back then) but obviously now the Mods have shown just how ridiculous they can be and most people have jumped ship together. It's great to be able to speak freely and without fear!!
Thanks to Poppy and everyone else for making this new home for us. I still won't be on all the time but I will definitely make an effort to pop in more.

Agree!!!! Hope that there is room for another refugee here. Thanks to Tiffany for the PM. Although I never posted much on the other forum (wrong time of day or behind the curve) I did go in every day. The panic I felt when I saw it was pretty much dead was awful. The DV family is as important to me as the game itself I think.
Now happily back to breeding Blooms. Currently on 6/30.

Jack let's be careful as this is an open forum and out of respect to other members with children. I am in agreement with you about Gabriel, but I just don't want to go down that path again. I hope you will understand my concerns.
I understand your concerns, but find nothing offensive with Tricia's quote, and I believe you're heading down the same path as the moderators I had so many issues with in the other forum. You have every right to sell whatever you believe, but that doesn't mean that I'm obligated to buy it.

I am really grateful, already enjoying reading the different threads here. Hope it flourishes. I think I was the first to see Poppy's first island message when the trouble started but was worried about posting too openly on the iPad forum so had to say about 'an old friend's former baby island' as it had got so hot and so many bans I didn't even know if I could mention him by name. Still, they could ban me for a month and I don't suppose it would have mattered
