]Did your NPCs double? I watched closely on my second one when I thought my first one didn't double, and indeed it did not. Localized rather than global glitches perhaps? That would suck!

Perhaps they fixed it because I got 50 for mine.
Maybe so... but at least it's not as catastrophic* now as it would have been in previous events since it can be made up to reach the cap in other ways.
I wonder if BFS "fixed" the tutorial portal glitch by eliminating it. I had to reinstall DV twice on my granddaughter's Kindle; we'd had no luck opening it. Finally got into her park, played the Tutorial, and never got the option to get the fire theme. No 1000 tickets.
That happened to my husband last night too. He was finally able to get on about 11 and start everything. It didn't give him the 1000 tickets at all. He would have liked it though because he currently doesn't have the fire theme and he had a tough time getting enough gems to save up for buying themes.
Are you thinking about emailing BFS? I think I will. It can't hurt to ask.

Doubles!
My parks reset at 1:00 pm. I'm definitely getting double tickets. Got 10 from a friend, 200 in the Challenge Tent, etc. The Wheel of Chance values are doubled. Tickets are also on sale.
Hopefully they will increase the daily limit for whatever double days they have. Is it possible that we won't all have the same double days?

Maybe... but just to be sure: how many times did you find the flag bearers yesterday?
Yesterday I collected tickets from 2 flag carriers from both my games. Today I started with my tablet and collected 25 tickets from 2 flag carriers. About 90 minutes later, on my phone, I collected 50 tickets from each of the 2 flag carriers.
There's an announcement in the News tab, and the store has a "Deal" sticker. According to the announcement all tickets that you "find" or "purchase" are doubled, so that may explain why the wheel doesn't pay double (they're "won", not "found"). Doesn't really explain why "finding" the banner wizards doesn't pay double though!
Edit: So far I've noticed that DC, treats, party hats, and hatching dragons all pay double, but not the wheel or the banner wizards...
You know, this is a nightmare when making a spreadsheet...

My flagbearers were doubled. And the wheel had doubled numbers on it (2,30,80. Though gems are stil 5 gems)

It may not be that bad anymore. BS and I both had non-doubling NPCs, but it appears they are starting to double now so maybe it was just an early glitch. I'd be interested to know if anybody is getting doubles on the prize wheel yet (as BS notes, however, they may not double the wheel since it shows the actual amount you will win and they may not have code in place to change the image assets on the wheel... this may be a reason to always play Name that Dragon on double days!)

Not sure what is going on. 50 tickets from finding the flag bearer, and 3 gems from the chest.
2 suggestions as to what occurred: 1) BFS realised their mistake by being told on facebook and fixed it 2) It depends on when your NPC regeneration reset. So if you found them 6 hours ago, they resetted in a non doubles day, but I doubt this.

I just got 5 more plays in the 'ID the Dragon' game for a total of 10 plays. Might have to exit the game to get more if it's not showing up.
Interesting... I now have 5 more spins on the wheel (or alternatively 5 plays of Name That Dragon which I didn't play this morning)
Edit: Haha! And indeed values are showing as doubled on the actual wheel images! Apparently they just fixed the problem and gave us all another 5 plays!
Edit2: However, they did not double the gem slot on the wheel!
OK, I was only able to play 3 of my new set of spins before I hit the cap. My last spin got me 80 tickets which put me above 1650 total for the event (650 yesterday and 1000 today). The excess 21 tickets were accumulated into the existing Backflip ticket gift from yesterday's overage, so we won't have to worry about multiple gifts piling up in the Gifts tab, it will apparently just be a growing pot!

Think there was some lag time between the reset and starting doubles. Had done a bunch of stuff in my granny acct and was getting normal ticket counts. Tapped a habitat and got 4 instead of 2. That was the big clue doubles had been released, lol.
