So yesterday I actually had surgery on my right hand. (Not due to paper cuts). In between ice packs and nodding off from pain pills I managed to collect all of my daily tickets. I set my alarm to remind me to stop back in to send gems. Now that the anesthesia is wearing off and my hand feels like I have a million severe paper cuts, it's comforting to know I have tickets in the bank.

Ouch. Hope your hand recovers soon!

Now that we know banked tickets can be redeemed at the end, I'm trying to remember the ways to bank them. Can someone summarize them for me please?

Challenge Tent tickets can be banked so long as you hit you max per day before the current challenge is completed by your dragon. Then when you finish the challenge quest, those tickets will be show up in your Social - Gifts tab as a gift from Backflip Studios.

So if you can max each day, you should be able to bank 50-100 tickets a day this way (100-200 on double days).

In addition, the Tickets that are sent along with gems/treats by your friends can also be banked, but you will have to not collect the gems/treats. This one might carry some risk if you have lots of friends sending you gifts though... Social tab crashing is a thing for some people...

I believe one Spin to Win (0-39 tickets, 1-79 on double days) or Name that Dragon (14 tickets max, 29 on double days) can also be banked if it's done exactly right, but it could be a bit tricky to end every day at 499 (999 on double days) tickets before the final game. They only let you play until you have hit max tickets right? Or can you hit max and then still play 10 games?... hmmm...

Don't think this has been mentioned, yet, but I got faked out a few times before I realized that the Kite Flying Challenges call for Air+Fire dragons and the Kite Dragon is not Air+Fire!! That's why I was only getting 50T for it!! Duh.

I accidentally collected a gem late last night long after I had hit my daily max in the morning.

The 5 tickets that came along with it vanished into the ether. They were not added to my total nor to my BFS gift...

Yes it has. Same with the Firefly one, as firefly is a Fire/Lightning dragon.

Don't pay attention to the names of the challenges, only to the elements required.

They stay with the Friend but they're grayed out until reset. I have accumulated over 50 tickets from one friend this way.

I fell for that one right out of the gate; first challenge, I put firefly into the firefly event.  I bet you have a lot of company in the "duh" tent, womantrarae!

Understood, but it did not work that way for me as of last night... Has it worked for you since then?

I didn't really want to risk losing another 5 tickets... I figured when they vanished that they had changed something.

But maybe I just ran into a glitch...

I collect my friend gifts after I've maxed out and save the tickets too. They go to the bottom of the list below the BFS gift in my friend list, and each friend accumulates their own total.

If you don't feel the need to collect DC or food right away you can get close to the cap using the other techniques and then fine tune your approach to the cap 2 tickets at a time. Alternatively, you can approach the cap using all techniques but then fine tune your final approach 5 tickets a time with party hats.

Just hit daily max and tried it.

Worked fine, so not sure what happened last night...

Yeah, I got close to the cap today and decide to take a spin.

I landed on 40, which was nice.

So yay for all those extra tickets, but I had to give up my chance at 5 gems because I didn't really think it through properly.

Tomorrow I shall Spin 9 times, approach the cap through other mans and then play Name That Dragon for the final.

5. I wish for the Gem Bush to grow taller, fuller and give out 3 gems per day. Since inception of the CBC my friends list has dbl from 46 to 115, I have received gems from various non gem buddies, there isn't a way to reciprocate. So the additional 2 gems would help for now, until....

That's another wish entirely.

6. I wish for freitag's hot air balloon to fly around in her park, don't want her to be disappointed.

A more reliable one to push you over the limit might be the Colosseum, (25, 50 on x2) Get to ~499 and then collect, so 20+ should get banked.
