But hey. I got a twin opal guys!! I don't think I was from anyone in the group, but a Facebook friends instead, so would anyone mind if I took the weekend off from sharing my lava to breed for other limited/epic/ goals of mine since we have a 100% twin rate for a couple days? I fully relinquish my turn sharing to someone else but will share my lava again after the weekend. I think a few of us may want to try to get the rare twins we all dream of...let me know if this is alright...

Personally this is fine by me, I understand the longer term players have a narrower list of dragons they're trying to breed;
and Fletch has been 'allowing ' successful twopal breeders to leave the lists anyway...so your request is not out of line from my understanding of how this works...koala!!

Hyder I think that puts your lava top now, so I've just bred a fail (sorry) with you, sped it up, and bingo! Another twail which I am not going to spend any more gems on, I have under 200 now I think.. And have to pay up at the end yet

Okay, I don't mean to add to the worry pile, but I just signed into DV and found no twins in my social menu despite the fact that KiwiChris stated he sent me a fail twin.  I fear that this doesn't bode well...unless it takes a few hours for a twin to show up in a social menu?  Is anyone else finding that their social menu is lacking twins?

lakes, did you receive any twins from me today?  I sent a Mud and Salamander (I believe).

Kiwichris, I completely understand your gem situation since I am gem poor myself.  However, I didn't receive your twin fail...I guess it was a failed twin.

Not sure if I got one from you Hyder, but I have received from many people(amongst other my brother and kelthorn) , after fletch sent his.

I won't be able to contribute to the Twopal as I have a doctor boiling, I'll stay off the list for now and just contact BFS, they have a history of restoring lost twins and I think they'll know that this is going to happen

Just checked DragonVale's Facebook Page, and found that we are not the only ones who are not receiving twins from another party.  Someone even posted a response from BFS on this matter: 




If this means what I think it means......we might need to rearrange our breeding tactics for this weekend.

Hyder, sorry to be unclear; just bred and sped rid of a non twin fail, then bred another long fail ( unknown if twin, still in coop) which I'm too gem low to speed up...so yr not missing a twin from me ...my bad, sorry

update; re the twin receipt issue, while I was online,  I received two twin fail eggs  with about 30 secs between, from two diff people, I checked what they were, but both sat in my social list until I gave up on the potential sale cash ( it's a poor park, every little helps and deleted without hatching (ouch!)
so maybe the key phrase is 'to open and acknowledge' (? By checking what it is or doing something w the alert)...

I have received multiple twins at a time from different people, but maybe that's not how it is supposed to be.

To carry on this train of thought, Lakes did you receive a twin from anyone when you logged in when I thought you should have received mine?

I got them one at a time
Log in, receive twin, 5 mins later new twin.

So at least I still have to log in to get every single one.
My baby park sent my main park a twin, and I did not receive that one at all, even tho I did not have another twin to be collected (was just a river, but it might happen to other people and more important dragons)

Oh you can receive plenty of eggs in your social menu. What they mean is, when you are not actively playing your game only the first twin sent to you sits in the cue for you to receive. All others disappear into the ether. I know when I do testing and do 100 breeds, for example, only the first twin gets sent to the receiver. Any others do not get through.

But I thought this was just the first one from each friend in your social menu. Thinking about it, it sort of makes sense that it is only 1 twin dragon.

Okay, no worries then.  

I'm just trying to figure out if we can only receive one twin at a time, and if that twin isn't collected or cleared from the social menu...does it mean future twins get lost in the abyss?
