Gum trees, we've GOT to grow more gum trees to feed the koala's and play didgeredo's to entertain them, and make hats w corks around the brim cobber, to keep the dragon heat from roasting their wee furry faces !!! I'm off into the garden to start planting

update, ugh,  now  a loooong coral fail, ok, so the dragons do not appreciate humour...what do we try next?!?!

That is wonderful to hear N/A.  At the very least, you bred an Opal Dragon, but I do hope that it is a twin.

it was a single birth, sadly. And I've already got 2 hatched dragons and a pedestals of every gemstone so right now I'm just hoping for twin gemstones. koala all.

While waiting for my last fail to clear, I figured I'd take down the reported fails to see if there was some sort of pattern. I found the following:

Mud (6H): 2 Reported ~ 5%
Obsidian (8H): 2 Reported ~ 5%
Salamander (9.5H): 5 Reported ~ 13%
Lava (10H): 8 Reported ~ 21%
Coral (11.5H): 4 Reported ~ 11%
River (13H): 12 Reported ~ 32%
Geode (23H): 4 Reported ~ 11%
Opal (31H): 1 Reported ~ 3%

Total Fails Reported: 38
Percentages Have Been Rounded

It would appear, at least in regards to the reported fails, that the percentage of acquiring the target (i.e. Opal Dragon) is approximate to reported percentage at the DV Sandbox for the Breeding Cave (3.5%) compared to that reported for the Epic Breeding Island (7%).

So, as a mathematically/arithmetically challenged person ( unashamedly...finally:) and impressed with that summary, my burning q is; now that we've attained the stat ave; if we continue on w this massed breeding madness, do we get to beat the odds?!?!? And produce koala filled twins for all??? Pleeeeze say yes !

The idea of tracking fails now is genius, but we need everyone to report ALL their fails then, otherwise results will be skewed, certainly something to do next month (unless other people hate the idea)
Finally the fails we get can be useful for something

Not very important this month, but out of curiosity I checked the November gemstone and Topaz's combo is Firefly + Cactus, making the longest fail possible a tie between Ash and Pepper with 6 hours
