Bred these two together in the regular cave, 25 times. In this order.

Imp Wink Dewdrop Foxglow x 2 Whirlpool x 2 Whirlpool (with Sealed Coin Spell) Gossamer Gossamer (with Sealed Hatch Spell)
Very similar results to my earlier testing above with regards to spells being passed along and the number of variants. Seems quite likely that breed order makes no difference to passing along of spells or the creation of Variant dragons.
Food requirement for my AvRainbow: level 1-2: 120 level 2-3: 240 level 3-4: 480 level 4-5: 960
I am sensing a pattern here.
I will keep watching and only report if it does not keep doubling.
That's interesting, because I've started on some of the desert dragons, and some of them seem to have this same pattern. The EvOasis and the non-variant Soaring both started at 120 and doubled every level until 6 at least. I'll put up a new table later if I can manage to get my kids to bed without a fight tonight!
This is what I have so far on the Desert dragons. I figured I could put up the whole table and then edit it as I find out more. Assuming I can edit my posts? Maybe we want a different thread to talk about feeding? I have no idea about these things, I'm very new here. Anyway, the ones with a green background are the ones I've confirmed. The rest are guesses.
Hmm, I just bred Jungle and Water and got a 3.5hr breed...

Edit: just realised the times of some have changed too, so it will be Tropical. I was just looking at the pictures
So many things have changed since the update. I was going to update the dragon earnings chart and then decided to wait. We went from earning so much dragon cash that you had to buy and sell decorations just to get rid of the stuff to now not earning enough to even be able to afford to plant food. The earnings are so off that getting the prompt to collect dragon cash from your habitats can take over a day. I figure BFS will tweak the earnings yet again before any worldwide roll out so I'll wait to update the charts.

Hi, I'm trying to get an AvLake. Can I get it by breeding a Lake Dragon with a Mist Dragon? Thank you!
I've tried to get one as well. It's funny, usually I've gotten variants quite easily in the past, but not this time. Currently trying mixing the air dragon with a lake-dragon. I've also tried casting air spells on the dragons, but honestly I have no idea how spells work.
Just an update. I eventually did get the AvLake using Lake and Air, it just took several attempts.
It was my experience that the Air variant dragons were the hardest to get. Now trying to fill in my egg collection and again the Air variants are being stubborn!

Kaiju/Totem/Oracle/Rainbow are no different to Fire/Jungle for the amount of food they need per level, it's:
Updated the First grid in the OP. Interestingly there are two holes in the grid, so scope for expansion later. Are there any dragons from the old game that we don't currently have in the latest update?
Underneath the first grid are all the rares, Megas, Epics, Gemstones and the one limited. Except for Bijou.
Have we determined if there are any hard and fast rules for getting an Enhanced version of any dragon?
Not yet. The only one I have bred is an Enchanted Oracle, and it had an oracle as one of the parents + a regular hybrid. I want to assume that the rules follow on from last time, in that you can only breed an enchanted of one of the breeding pair, but I don't know if that's still true, or if there are any rules about what the other dragon should be.
Anyone that wants to chime in with their experience, we would be happy to hear.
