Didn't have my game updated so only had last night and this morning to breed Lantern and Gongji. After about 300 gems and only 15 mins left to breed both, I looked up to the ceiling and said "God, Green Lantern, whoever, please give me this Lantern" And you literally wouldn't believe that I got the 1d 3h timer haha then I looked up again and said, "dang maybe y'all really do exist, hey green lantern could you hit up your boy Gongji" and went for the breed and didn't get it. I was upset and let down but then got it the next try.
So "Breed two dragons that have the fire and water traits at well as two other unique traits between them" for masquerade dragon. What combi would you suggest?

Gonji are the only ones I see with Fire and Water and ANY two others, let alone the SAME 2 others.
What I don't know is how the mechanics of a rainbow + rainbow work - if you can also breed two of those. So, I'm gonna try that too *shrug*

The breeding instructions are the same for all the rainbow family of dragons....you need four different elements in your breeding combo, two of which are required elements.
I'm going to try Wildfire (fire, plant) x Whirlpool (water, air)
Cinder (fire, earth, plant) x Water should also work, but I'm trying to avoid Earth because of the Badland fails.
I'm trying Iris x Newt in one breeding spot and Foxglow x Fern in the other. The Jungle and Fairy elements help keep the breeding times low, other than Rainbow fails the first set only gives me ENIris (13h15m) as the highest fail and the second gives Iris (8h50m). Since I wouldn't mind an ENIris I don't mind if I see that as a fail

I used Iris x Newt and got the Masquerade egg after about 20 tries. Good suggestion!

Are you all not using the breeding sandbox? The new dragon is rainbow, the sandbox shows the elements in the parents if you choose rainbow parents: fire, earth, water, wind (air).
I'd like to know how 2 rainbows make a petroglyph though (which has a 5th element).

Sorry to say not me. This was my breeding weekend event. I did breed 2 masquerades but no enchanted or Zodia yet.
