I believe: everyone will receive the same gift when they open door 1, 2, 3, etc. But you can only open 1 door a day. If you skip a day, then you will never get to open all 24 days. That's what they mean by "Come back every day"

Love all the little touches - including being able to expand the snowflake habitats; they were getting a bit crowded! Hope they are releasing more decorations as time goes on.
