The FAQ says 1000

even if the next two weekends are double weekends, 6 days,, it would be close, just enough to get both dragons in 12 DAYS,, banking berries would be needed if not maxed every day, And if there is only one doubles weekend.

(17235 needed, and 18000 earned if maxed every day and 6 double days)


Looks like we may get two other dragons for free in the advent calendar, no idea if they are new dragons or prior year holiday, or snowflakes

If you have more than one park you can split the costs : one new dragon per park. They are epic so you should be able to coop breed for them. Maybe not during the event but afterwards for sure (unless they change the breeeding rules again )

And the Moon Island Theme is also available for 500 gems, in case you didn't get it before (like me) and have 500 gems (not like me).

I was up to ~1500 gems recently and bought the Harvest Theme for 250 and the Island Theme Pack for 900. I'm back down to ~300 gems.

I am breeding for Tidal right now (quake + abyss) and got a 24 hour dragon in my upgraded cave (so a 30hr dragon?). According to the sandbox, this dragon doesn't exist. Is it possible I inadvertently bred one of the new dragons? I didn't think we could breed them.

Confirmed. I bred my first Loot with a Bronze off somebody else's Loot in season, then got the second Loot off season as a twin by offering the first Loot.

Likewise confirmed. I just finished party-hatting 100 friends and the berries trickled off at friend # 99.

Unfortunately banking berries won't help for the first two dragons. Banked berries come out after the 4th of Jan, when it ends. Pulling them out before then just counts them towards your daily max. So no, without something changing, we can't buy both dragons. I doubt both weekends will be doubles.

Congratulations, it's a Tidal. They changed its breeding time for some reason.

I bred a Tidal earlier today, and when it landed in the nursery it said 30 hours. I emailed BFS and got this back:
