Home from work and my first chance to really look around and see what's what. Love the Event Island. The buildings all look great, and the cleared paths to all of them is fantastic. The floating bell above the island is a superb touch.
Is it still a max of 5 times in the Event Quest?
Off to check out my dragonairum to see what I need to breed for.
As far as I can tell, yes. I've run it 4 times so far today, and my 5th is running now. I won't be able to tell you if there's more, because I should be maxed out.

Also, on the off chance they run the double week-end this first week-end, hold off gifting, etc until the morrow. And make sure you are logged out of your game properly at the reset. We've had people caught out before.

Where do you guys get those poinsettias in your parks? I looked through the decorations in the market, but I don't see them there. Would love to have those!
Also, I noticed the moon habitats are sparkling. Looks fantastic, but I've never seen that before. Is that related to something specific?

I'm trying for Lycan so I've got AshxStorm on the Island for a 20 hr (19 hrs 6 min last I checked) but it doesn't show anything with that time in the Sandbox. Any idea what that is?

That goes with the BeB event. As all the dragons can be breed, the decorations are available and the corresponding items spark. So magical, right?

The poinsettias were linked to the christmas decoration (Santas hut) you could buy last year for 25 gems or so. I think they will return in a few days for those who didn't have the chance last year. All dragons available make all related decos animated : the moon sparkles, the apocalypse habitat throws bats and fire, the solstice stones beam....

Anywho, I just did a second round of party hat clicking for berries. Do they reset more than once per day now?? I first did it at 12:30 pm CST, right after the event started. I just did a second round at 9:30 pm CST, and got berries both times.
I just bought the Spooky Tree and got a gem - good investment for $150,000 DC!

I'm missing so many dragons, I don't know where to start! For some reason, I thought BeB would start later (that's my excuse for not planning ahead!). I'm thinking I'll start with the ones I've been missing the longest. Maybe the snowflakes fluttering down in our parks will be full of koalas for us all.
My first free gift was an Ornamental habitat, very happy about that!
I had the exact same problem last year! There are a few options that you could take, and with the co-op cave usable after the event, breeding for limited hybrids (ie. Panlong, Century, Harvest) might be a good idea. You could also use breeding combinations which yield the greatest amount of possible dragons. This method last year yielded me every dragon I needed that was breedable via Bloom/Panlong except for 1. (I was specifically breeding for an Ovalith but got all of the others I missed! This same combo has 84 possible dragons this year!). The last way is to pick 3 favourite dragons and breed just for them! That would be the most fun and least stressful way to play! Lots of koala to you! I'm off to continue my epic journey, in breeding an Oval-demon, I mean, an Ovalith!
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

Huh, I sped it up and it's a Lycan, which now seems to be 24 hrs breed/hatch. Lots of changes. But woo Lycan on my second try!

I just encountered another glitsch, put two plant dragons to breed, got a 10 hours something breeding time ......
Congratulations, you got the bane of BeB, Motley is a possible outcome of any breeding.
Oh boy. I hadn't thought about that menace. Does this happen frequently enough that I should forget about grinding plants to get to the max berries for the day?
