Oookay, something's weird here: when the doubles started, I had 1500 from yesterday, and I started collecting what I could to take advantage of the lifted cap. Everything I've collected has been doubled as far as I know...so how do I now have an odd number of iceberries? :-O

Does your odd number end in 5? Perhaps you collected a friend gift that was sent before doubles.

Hm...that might be it. I first noticed when the number ended in 1 and so didn't make the connection, but I think I did collect one gift I had been holding for the reset. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone in the forum that saw the early doubles! I bought a theme to hit the doubles max with 3 minutes to spare

What would people think of keeping a list of the Advent-type gifts as they are opened. Since berries received there do not count against the limit, I thought it might be useful for keeping track of where you are. OTOH, it has the chance of destroying a surprise.

I'm using Gold Olympus with Lace, so the elements end up being plant earth fire + lightning from the Oly. That gets me Cactus/Scorch/Firefly as possible short outcomes.

Lace + Andromedan/Eridanian

Does anyone know if using gems to buy the prizes from the Faire event will go to the iceberry count? I'm considering buying the decorations I didn't get this Summer with my gems -- Farry's Wheel, Earthen Altar, Heated Air Balloon, Frozen Fountain and Bouncy Mushroom. They are 50 gems each... so if I can get 100 iceberries... I may get them now.

Yes, they count - just bought two items from the Faire myself.

{whams head on desk} WHAT WAS I THINKING?! I bought the Lost Island (which I wanted) before I ever did a single thing today. Hadn't spun the wheel, have a dragon in the Arctic Arena so I can bank those and will bank anything from friends. But...arrrrrgh. I swear, it would help if I would actually THINK every once in a while! Drat.

When I read this I only had 20 Minutes left for 1000 berries.
So I cashed in the banked berries, emptied my nursery and bought the metal island theme which I planned to do anyway.
Some more speed ups and tataaa : 2500 berries in the basket.

I'd be okay with that. People can decide not to look if they want to maintain the element of surprise.  I like tracking things as I go, so I'd refer to it for sure.
