All the extras got a lot cheaper. Only 100 gems for 2nd breeding cave now. And the Nursery slots are way cheaper. Have finally managed to grab them all.
Two type habitats are a lot more affordable as well.
I hadn't noticed that the habitats are cheaper, but I did see that re-spins from gathering food are cheaper, and speeding up has gotten cheaper too. I think BFS is changing the value of the gems; they seem to be much closer to DragonVale now in that each gem is worth about an hour.

Sadly, the gem rewards have also been reduced. I was holding out on claiming my rewards from the Wizard Hall, but I guess I should have claimed them earlier... Oh well.

Hey guys! How do i breed the orther epic dragons? I have 5 rainbows, one of each variant. I know that the key to breeding one is having 6 different elemets while breeding. But I have absolutely no idea how to get any other epic dragon! Have you guys mananged to breed any? if so how? all replys are much appreciated!

// Smurf, level 43
As far as we know, you need two lots of the same location element, so a Fern + a Lake, for example, and we thought you needed all 4 base elements, but that might not be necessary. I'm using FvFern + AvLake to try for Plume.
They released another version two days later on May 20th. Version 1.2.2 has the same description as 1.2.0 and 1.2.1. I wonder if they broke something or if perhaps they are doing some final fine-tuning and it will be released soon. It sure is taking a long time. Hope you alpha/beta testers did a fine job!

Will have to check to see which one I am up to.
Yeah, it's such a crazy long time since the kids in Singapore got access to it. So much of the stuff we have put together has been changed multiple times. Hopefully soon. They said they'd announce it Facebook, so we'll keep looking.
Major update released to DragonVale World! Players will want to update for the new Dragonsai dragons, which are the equivalent of gemstones and crystallines from DragonVale. These dragons can be bought or gifted via a daily calendar (seems identical to the Advent Calendar and other gift calendars from DV events). First Dragonsai dragon is Wisteria, with the second, Deadwood, unlocked with the next reward calendar. Dragonsai habitats have appeared in front of the main island; they have clearly taken their design from the Dragonsai Tree in DV.
List of changes I've noticed: - Habitats have increased their DC limits - Amount of DC has a much higher cap now (my cap is at 25 million) - Epic Breeding Island is much bigger now - Dragonarium has been revamped - Enchanted dragons now have adjectives appended to their names (Heated/Glowing for Fire Enchanteds; Grassy/Gritty for Earth; Soggy/Damp for Water; Windy/Orbital for Air) - Applause for achievements seems to have been removed - Growable treats have been reduced to a few types, but it is possible to upgrade the farms to grow more units of each type (you pay more of course) - My treats disappeared but I received a lot more as a gift; BFS probably took them and scaled them to match the current numbers before giving them back
It seems that with each revision the game's currency is moving closer and closer towards the original DV's currency. Hopefully these changes stick and we move another step closer to the worldwide release of the game.

All spells now seem to cost DC and no need to gather items to cast them. Glad they got rid of the ability to cast spells to make the variants. Even with the need to collect items, it was way too easy to collect the dragons. Breeding dragons should be the way to get them (or spending gems).
Not so happy that we've past the 6 month mark and it's still not released world wide. I'm already at Level 48, even going slowly. Think I'll be starting a new game when it does get released. Probably need to do that anyway to update the information. Sigh ...

Good news is, I received gems when they got rid of the dragon teeth. It gave me enough to get the Dragonsai Tree, so now I can spread the love a bit better.
Good day. How does the reward wheel appear? Coz I want to collect some artifacts to summon the mega dragons.any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi shellen8, when you're gathering items, take note of the percentage at "Chance of Bonus." That shows you how likely you are to get the reward wheel after your dragon has finished gathering. Different items have different odds, and dragons at different levels also get different odds. Lower-level dragons have better odds, which might be offset by the number of units they can gather each time.

Just posting some pix of the new Hieroglyph dragon that liza bred at her park. It does not appear in the Dragonarium, but it definitely exists. She bred it with AvFossil + AvPlumed.
3/4 of the way to getting my first gem dragon. Anyone cave and buy it? I'm a little disappointed that it hasn't gotten cheaper as you get closer to the 20 days. I think that would be a good incentive to make them purchase closer to the release date. But if I've waited this long, there's no reason for me to spend the same amount to get it that I could have spent on day 1.

I think it's probably because you'll be gifted 1 at the end of 20 days anyway, so buying it wouldn't help speed your calendar progress up; you would just have 2 of the gem dragon.
