I just can't seem to breed any dragons that I am wanting. Luck has just passed me by. Has anyone got any ideas? I am trying for Ire in the coop using my lace and a friend's Ire.
I acquired three of the new dragons with roses and have had zero luck even cloning one. Received one twin Serenity from another player early on but since then only fail twins coming in and going out. What has BFS done, changed the breeding odds to 0.001? I hope after the limited Aura dragon is released and people start spending their roses that BFS increases the odds a bit for the others or this event will be a bust for many players.
Yes, I think this event seems to be the toughest for getting the event dragons through coop breeding. None of my parks or real life friends have managed to breed the dragon they are coop breeding with The only Aura dragon I have bred through coop breeding was another Serenity (not twined) and I have received only three gifted twin Auras out of oodles of elemental twins... and two of these came in only hours after whining on here. Maybe we need to do more moaning and whinging about it,
As I mentioned in a previous post it is much easy to breed a second Aura through your EBS.
I was grumbly through the holiday event/BEB because my to do list actually got longer.
And right now I have a hat trick going, at least on missing pedestals. Snowflake 5 pedestal is cooking in the cave. Serenity in the CBC and Lace on the island. I can't remember ever having such luck.

No new dragon today. There is the return of the Seed dragon, however.
I don't have a Seed Dragon, so it is new to me.
Also, it looks like we have a return of all the limited sun and moon type dragons. Does anyone know why this is? Chinese New Year celebration?
Appears to be in celebration of the Lunar New Year, according to what BFS posted on FB.
So, now I'm wondering this....If I were to try for Omen while the moon dragons are back in season (however briefly), would my chances be better using the locked combo of Moon and Apocalypse in the EBS, or should I just keep trying to epic clone one in the CBC? I don't know how accurate the sandbox is, but it estimates both methods to be about the same (says that the locked combo has a very slightly lower chance). The problem is that now there are blue moon fails in the mix too, grrrr. Hmmm...maybe I'll pass on the idea altogether and just keep trying for Barite.
BTW, I thought for sure a new "weekend-only" dragon would be introduced today.

I believe your chances are higher with Moon+Apocalypse. At least that's how I got mine the last time Omen was briefly available.

I haven't been able to breed a single aura either, and I have burned through way too many gems trying to get them. They seem much harder to breed than epics from previous events, I was usually able to breed at least one or two.

There is a major glitch! If I don't shut out of my DV window completely, it won't reset. I have to swipe the window up and make sure it's completely closed down in order for my game to reset. Otherwise it tells me to come back blah blah blah
I was having problems also, so I tried something different. When I finished my last challenge today before reset, I tried to start another one. I got the message that more challenges would be available after blah blah blah. After reset, when I went into DV, I was able to immediately get in and start a new challenge without the message.

I'm finding better luck with these aura dragons than I ever had trying for the ornamental dragons in their event. I was unsuccessful trying to breed flicker, verglace or ornamental in the coop, but I've managed a serenity twin and ire so far this week. The serenity was a cloning situation, but ire was lace + ire. Since the new dragon hasn't arrived, I think I'll try my luck with delight for now.
Finally, 12 hours with Flicker and Ire... that could also be a Moss
I got tired of fake-outs with Moss fails, so I switched to trying for Melancholy. I don't really care which dragon I get, I'd just like one of the new Auras so I've got some leeway with the event currency. No luck there either, but at least it'll be obvious if I get one!

"Hate"might be too strong to describe my reaction to twin eggs. I keep them, but like a booby prize collection.
The hierarchy now is
1) Real dragon 2) Real egg. But if I get a twin egg without a real egg then hatch it for 3) a Twin Dragon to try and breed on the island or in the cave, a Real Egg
And then, a
4) Twin egg
