Using what I found here - somewhere:

"Serenity : Dazzling, Andromedan or Flicker
Ire : Lace (contributes the same elements)
Melancholy : Verglace (contributes the same elements)
Delight : Ornamental (contributes the same elements)"

So sad ..

Am I the only one calculating that, with the event days left, there will be a sizable surfeit of roses so the surprise dragon is going to REALLY cost?

No, you are not the only one. As the event passes by with the roses piling up I fear the same.

Oh, I'm hoping it's not expensive, but instead planned for Valentine's Day and as the dragon meant to be remembered for the roses and love in the air theme of this event.

I bought pedalstools to unlock the last set of prizes. Also bc I haven't been able to breed a single aura dragon. I didn't realize we could breed them on our island. When I get a Meloncholy and delight I will try for pedalstools there. IF I get them lol koala everyone

There aren't any fake outs but be prepared for evergreens, moss and trees. That's what I get non-stop:(

sorry to report that i have to join the majority of folks that have been unable to breed an aura yet ...only have the 2 i purchased despite many many attempts ...
BUT i have managed to get my 2nd lace & 2nd flicker so i am thrilled with that!
With the huge backlog of dragons i am still missing (tidal, omen, midday, elysium, delirium & last monolith) i have to keep reminding myself that i play this game for relaxation & enjoyment & not stress & anxiety
G-o-o-d l-u-c-k to all! Here's hoping the odds improve soon!

Ok, I just bred a Meloncholy using Verglace in the coop. Granted I wasted another 50-75 gems, I got the sucker. I kept hitting "retry". I wasn't about to give up! So my first aura dragon! For those of you who have had zero luck like myself, there is hope if you're willing to spend gems.

You're lucky your only tired of smoke while trying to get Rose. I'm tired of Seasonal. I have gotten 3 while trying for my Rose pedestal. Also no luck getting the Moonstruck pedestal. The Aura dragons definitely don't come easily. I've been trying unsuccessfully for different ones in both my parks, although my son got a Delight first try.

I just had a quick look, and short-term limited dragons – tidal, omen, pharaoh – were all released on a Friday for 72 hours.
So this coming Thursday it might be a good idea to let breeding grounds and nurseries clear up so they are free to try for the limited on Friday. Maybe do sandstorms to rack up some roses. At the same time, save gifts and visits for double rose Friday. Posting this now as I will forget to do it later. (。ヘ°)

Event Colosseum: do we get 5 collections or 5 starts?

I didn't make it back to collect my 5th, so I collected it after today started. So, does it count as one of my 5 for today?

Welcome to the forum!!

You get a maximum of 5 starts as long as you have not hit your daily limit.

Collecting counts during the 24 hour period - so if you collect your 5th start before reset it counts for the day you started (because you collected on the same 'day' you started the event coliseum).  If you happen to collect AFTER reset then it will apply to the next day.

I agree, Moss is frustrating. I think I know why so many have abandoned and switched to Melancholy or Delight. At least you know what's coming!

I haven't been getting extra "goal" gems for posting to twitter or facebook since the event started. I actually post instead of just backing out and trying to cheat the system. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having trouble banking roses from memory game. when I'm close to the limit, I play the game, it allows to choose 2 cards but then the game completely crashes. I've had this on 2 of my parks today.
