Just want to make sure, as tomorrow (or I should say later today) is the last day of the event, does that mean it's the last day to collect a daily max of 1000 roses? or was the double roses on Valentine's Day the last day for daily rose collecting since the event ends the next day? Sorry if that sounds a little confusing, haha. If we have 1 more day of rose collecting, I'll be able to buy an Omnitat as well without spending any money, but if not, I might consider buying a few roses while there's a sale in the market for twice the amount of roses.

Same here. Made it more enjoyable don't you think? I certainly hope the people at BF will offer any future events this way asI have never been a fan of having to grind my way through events. This is much better, but that's also partly due to the fact I already have certain dragons (such as moonstruck) that were also offered in the event. Made it easier for me to splurge my roses today ;-)
A reminder -- since there is no tomorrow in the event, it would be best after completing a full board in the matching game to go to spinning the wheel to use up the remaining turns.

I bred multiple Surprise dragons before my iPhone took a dip (it has been revived) and I lost 36 hours of the game -- though I did manage to get the day of doubles. I think I'll be able to get the dragons I didn't have and I'll have spare roses for a 2nd Aura habitat and a 2nd Omnitat -- I just need to decide if I want the 2nd Omnitat more than the decorations as I can't get them all. I'm not bothering with pedestals and will keep trying to breed for them.

I have about 8600 plus banked and have gotten everything I need. I have all aura dragons and pedalstools, bought 2 omnitats and 2 aura habitats. What else should I get? I feel like it's such a waste of roses:(

I would say any decorations because they might return as prizes eventually, and then you'll have a head start. If Backflip sticks with the "unlocking collections" stuff, which I think they will.
Also, lower-level parks can buy and sell Moonstruck Pedestals for 2.5 million DC per 160 roses. High-level parks are probably better off taking the treat conversion.

The luck pendulum was still on the upswing for me this entire event, so, to the koala-deprived, your turn Is bound to come soon. Don't get too discouraged.
I was able to breed more than a few things, so ended up with two surprises, two serenities, two ire, all the pedestals (except as noted below), one melancholy, one delight, two of the trees, one each of the new decorations, and get this, enough for two more omnitats and 500 roses to spare.
I also got a handful of my breeding backlog goals satisfied, and so am down again only to the three missing galactic and new crystalline dragon, and their pedestals, plus a Procyon pedestal, and, doh!, a surprise pedestal.
Here's where I want to kick myself. I forgot to get the surprise pedestal before expiration. I obviously had the roses to buy it. Even breeding surprise plus surprise, I think every dragon in the game is a possible fail, so it may take me a while.
Good problem to have considering the rest of my luck. Anyway, that's got to be it for me this year, I would imagine. One of you could be next!

I managed to get all of the prizes in two of my parks, and only missed out on two in my baby park. I opted to get the 3 Omnitats instead of the Melancholy dragon and didn't have enough for the archway. I'd say that's pretty good. Hopefully the Easter event goes as smoothly.
