I was curious about whether the Reward Monolith Habitat would remain "special" when upgraded. I looks like it does, so I'll upgrade it and be able to stow the other one.
I'm wondering this as well. I would upgrade my event habitat if it kept the unique look. Otherwise, I'll just upgrade my other one. Can someone confirm?

For those who have yet to acquire a Chrysalis... Just wanted to let you know that if you have an Omnitat habitat that the Chrysalis dragons can hang out there. No need to spend your eggs on the Chrysalis habitat until the end of the event unless you want to.
He only noticed his success getting gems each time on the first set up. All the rest just seem very random. I'm talking multiple parks. Each time he played the first game in each park each day he's gotten gems.
In order to maximise the number of eggs we can collect and bank, we should maximise the number of eggs we can get from each egg drop game. I have loads of photos in the spoiler of my drops and where they have landed, good and bad...
Yeah I only got two - avoid dropping it here! Straight down the middle seems to be working in this one! Straight down the middle would be ideal for this one, but I missed, but still got the 60. I placed this one well and got the full 80! Straight down the middle doesn't seem to work here. I managed to get 40 by going slightly off centre. I only got two! Avoid! Managed to somehow get the 5 gems from this spot, as echo9 said I would. Slightly off centre got me 40, looks like centre would have bagged me the gems... I've done this one twice and got 2 on both, do not put this one in th positions I did... Once again slightly off centre bagged me 40. Sadly slightly off centre really did not work here. Get it down the centre or else! Terribly placed, only got two! This one seems quite random. But I always seem to get the 40 eggs when very slightly off centre... This positioning got me 40... This well placed one got me 60 eggs. Yuck, this positioning only netted me 2 eggs.
Please help add to this data by adding your exerience....

Oh dear, trying to get little language training, I had changed my game language to French about a month ago. So today when the eagerly awaited egg hunt tutorial arrived, I could barely understand it! Fortunately the arrows are pretty self explanatory, and we've seen enough of these events that we know how they work. I found only one egg, the gold one that yielded one gem, and I didn't notice if it gave any eggs.
There is also a French DV forum, and Vivian is a member of that forum.

Glolca, thank you for letting me know about the bad translation. I'm such a beginner I wouldn't have known! They're probably using something like Google translate or itranslate, both terrible. But the first time I saw my dragon-Marais had finished incubating, I was happy thinking, hey I know which dragon that is! Your English is so perfect, you must have studied all your life. Getting back on topic, now I'd love to see that I have a dragon-Chrysalide.

I think I just got a Chrysalis dragon using VP's Chrysalis... 33:20 in the coop using Serenity. Here's hoping! I go to Europe for 2 weeks in a week, and wont have the internet to be maxing out on eggs every day =_=;; Gotta get what I can where I can!

Yep, yep, I think my Chrysalis must have some kind of lucky charm attached to it. I got him using cowb0y300's Chrysalis and my Serenity. Once he hatched I used him in the CBC and got two more back to back! No twins though. Using him to try for the other dragons now. Will let you know my progress.

no my english isn't perfect! I learned english watching TV with closed caption when my husband was a student in Vancouver... It's easy for me to read, but difficult to write.. When I say awful for the french translation, it's more for the weird names, and long names..but dragon marais is correct for swamp..don't worry, it's a good way to learn some vocabulary.. I just think that english is better than french to describe something. No luck for me for " dragon chrysalide", still trying

Hi all, I'll add a data point to process of using the CBC to get an event dragon.
I have spent approximately 350 gems speeding up fails : 200 gems on Serenity + Chrysalis, without success. Then 150 on Ire + Swallowtail, with success on my 12th breeding attempt - I have a 1:17:20 timer in my CBC.
I am planning on speeding up the Swallowtail breed in 24 hours time (maybe) but I am still reeling from the number of gems spent. I have been profligate with gems because I'll be out of Internet access for a few days later in the event, so I feel it is worth it.
Anyway, I should also mention the 400 gems spent in the Winter Frostival event that did not produce a single ornamental dragon in the CBC.
Luckily I'd been saving all gems before the Frostival, and I still have an excellent stash.

So an update to my previous post about not getting enough eggs.... I'm now getting all my eggs and banking all my gift eggs, and some of the last round of the stadium. Whew! Changed up two things. First I am collecting all my party hat eggs now(thanks to woodstock46's suggestion). Takes a while, but I'm hoping I'll decide its worth it if I can get all the stuff on my wish list! Just wish there was a way to spend those banked eggs before the end! Also, I finally noticed(embarrassed to admit how long it took!) that when you put your dragon in the burcadian stadium, it shows two symbols at the top of your dragon list, for what type of dragon you should use. Suddenly I'm getting a lot more 200s instead of 100s. Hopefully, if there's any other newbies that haven't noticed that, my shameful confession will help you out!
Now my whine... I've been trying in both my parks for chrysalis since the first of my friend list got it in the CBC(Friday I believe). Still nothing. Buffy and vonfirmath - I don't think those chrysalis dragons like me either. I even bought them a pretty habitat already, just hoping to entice them to my parks... but no luck yet.

Available for Co-op and party hats - all my gem swap spots are currently full.
Has anyone else had a problem with the egg counter getting stuck? My egg counter definitely thinks I am maxed, but eggs swirl around it constantly like it is going to add eggs. The weirdest thing is that my eggs end in 49. No matter how I do the math, I cannot make adding by 2 or 4 end in 49. I did buy a new habitat for 2995, a monolith 5 egg 335, and an ovalith egg for 460. However, that still does produce an egg count ending in 9. My biggest concern is that since I technically should not have been maxed yet, I will not earn eggs at the switch. I have done all the standard trouble shooting things like restart, download app again etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I want too many prizes to miss out on any eggs. Koala all

Is anyone having an issue finding yesterday's egg? Anyone have just the one egg available each day? UPDATE...I Exited and got back in, and I found it. And reading the early comments, I see there's just one egg so far
