Just heard one of the best tips ever! Basically this is a way to get doubles even after doubles weekend ends! What you have to do is go onto auto lock and click never. Then when the doubles weekend is scheduled to finish, stay in the game over that reset time. The game will reset sot hat you can reach a new cap, but you will still be earning doubles. You will not be able to visit another park or reload the game, so you have to be in the game the whole time. Becuase this takes a LOT of power up (constantly being in the game that is), you may want to charge your device. I'm gonna try this next doubles weekend. If you don't want to spend all that time in your park, you could just spend that extra time ensuring that you are gifting people doubles when it's not doubles still!

During the Winter Frostival, wasn't that the blue present a limited non-epic dragon we didn't have? The blue corresponded to the limited category, while the purple corresponded to the epic category (we don't have a purple gift this time round).
Yes, it should be a non-epic dragon that we do not have. More details were listed about the daily rewards in a Reddit post that was linked a while back.
Personally, instead of getting a non-epic limited I would have prefered getting a rare dragon...like a Midnight, Elysium, or Delirium. I still need those three, and they all are rumored to be difficult to breed. However, I was able to purchase an Ovailith, so I cannot complain too much since Ovailith is the rarest of them all. Plus, you never know what will come to pass if they decide to do another Dragon Faire (which I hope they do because I enjoyed the last one so much).

While grinding plant dragons to try and max out, I was wondering about ways to improve the game experience. Removing the max and lowering the diminishing values for cash and treat collections might help--it would also make it consistent with the other ways to earn event currency since the only methods of earning currency that are limited are in the competition and game tents. And upping the number of plays in the competition and game tents would be great.

Aha! I have been wondering where the esteemed oldsmol has been and how is progress for the Eggland Maxima.... Sympathies and ditto situation on ALL fronts here, no koalas in sight ...or on site....or even inspite or tospite...... ;( ;(

Do you think that a limited dragon will be released this weekend? The event habitat holds five dragons, and there is already five dragons listed in the prize tiers...so, what do you all think?
In the past, there would only be four dragons available in the prizes with the fifth one being a weekend only event, but we already have five listed....hmmm.

When I went on my tourney the Eggland Maxima was going in the right direction; the Island itself is too small to build a proper Eggland, but I was glad to have been able to have so many new twineggs recently. Now new eggs are being presented in a furious tempo.
The picture you commented is from Los Christianos in Tenerife and is probably the original finca, now in modern condition, lying at the edge of the moden town. We passed it coming down from the Guatza mountain.
I recommend everyone who has the oputurnity to walk on Tenerife. Found no big dragons and certaintly no Eggs, but was able to feed lizards while we had lunch during one of our walks.

my guess is that if there is one, it won't be a chrysalis epic, or any epic for that matter. It would be a limited hybrid similar to butterfly. But I don't think it's likely. And considering Quartz was just released, I sure hope there won't be one.
Just want to let you all know that if you have a friend with any of the chrysilis dragons you can get them with any epic. I got duskwing with daydream and a friends dusting in the co-op cave and chrysilis with chrysilis and monolith 5.

So I've been having a seriously hard time maxing out this event, which is weird. In past events I've sometimes had to grind a little bit to get to the limit, but with this event it seems harder than ever! Maybe because I'm playing the "Name the Egg" game instead of taking chances with the pinball game? I always used to play the wheel of fortune game before, and never bothered to bank the last spin. I always felt like I got cheated a bit with lots of 1s, but actually maybe I was doing better with it than I thought!
Or I'm just missing doing something... :/
That said, if I skip trying to collect enough to buy all the dragons, between what I've already got and banked/friends gifts, I don't need much more to get all the new decorations and the pedestals. Since I'll be traveling from March 20th, I think I'll just take it easy during that time and not bother stressing about collecting. I refuse to be "that person" pulling out my phone to play with dragons instead of enjoying turning into an icicle in Iceland, or turning into a Guinness in Ireland...

Ok, I broke down and tried the speed breeding. 600 gems later nothing. My stash took a hit on that one. So ch fun, fun, fun.
