As with most others, I'm struggling on this event. I'd almost rather not go after dragons and instead get the Epic statue and Lost Island I missed long ago. I bought a Monolith habitat when I saw the fifth in this event, but noted it didn't count as having one in the gifts area, which stinks. Bred an Ovalith at least, many days wasted in failures there.
Long story short, is anyone available for me to friend request that is sporting some new dragons or monolith dragons to bread with? I'd appreciate the help. As it is now, most my friends gave up playing even before the CBC came in.

Here’s the scoop. After the event ends, any Magic Eggs stored in your Gift Menu must be collected in order to be added to your total. You can collect a max of 1,000 Magic Eggs per day from your Gifts Menu after the event ends.
So banking is limited to 7000 eggs this time. This stinks. I guess 7000 is better than nothing, but I managed to do about 17k last event and I was hoping that diligent banking could carry me through this again.
At least they're telling us in advance instead of it being a nasty surprise when the event ends.

Last night, traded in MEs for the 1st Chrysalis habitat, then I played w/ the 2nd habitat (was never intent to buy the 2nd just yet) on my Monolith island to see how both would fit, and inadvertently hit "Done" instead of "Cancel".
Email BFS to see if I can get credit for the eggs, and they can remove the 2nd habitat from my game...The reply I got was "unfortunately we are unable to credit gems or reverse actions made in your park in these situations."
OMG, and how many times did BFS went in players' parks and reversed their errors? Please, don't give me that can't do. I have witnessed many errors, mistakes, glitches to know what BFS can and won't do.
I have had hard time maxing out MEs, and relied much on gem buddies last few events. W/ the new banking rules, it's not really helping.
This maybe it, "the straw that breaks the camel's back."

I won't be able to play the last week of the event (sorry, gem friends), I will miss March 28 until April 2, does that mean I will have to pay "full price" for the Marbletail dragon? Once during the Frostival event I thought I saw it was possible to open missed days'gifts by paying eggs for each missed day, but I couldn't tell if that was just for one day, and if it is also possible in this event, does anyone know? It seems like I am having to miss some time in almost every event now, probably because the events are longer and more frequent, which is getting annoying, but this one is especially frustrating with the expensive dragons, locked prize tiers, and new banking rules. And the difficulty of breeding the dragons. Even spending a little money it is almost impossible to make up for missing days, and I am starting to wonder if this game is still right for me. I guess I will wait and see how much of a hit I take for missing those days at the end.

At the risk of being a lightning rod and attracting some ire ( pun not intended) Because I am only L60 and with limited dcash, gems and treats, perhaps my view of the game differs from the senior level parks and 'wealthy ' players... 1. I view it as a game for me and income earner for BFS; just factual 2. I never expect to get all the prizes I would like from an event...with patience (breeding) and time (BEB) most things become available again 3. Those things that don't, like the fab paving the longer term players have access to, well I just sigh and get over it 4. If there is something in an event I REEEEAAAALY want, there are deal days offered and normal days where I can spend RL cash ( not much, cup of coffee worth?) to either buy it or add to saved event cash and buy it 5. I actually don't want to 'finish' by getting all the dragons and all the eggs....because then it's done, and I'm waiting around for new releases... Atm I'm not happy about how fast the XP is accumulating for me...I want to enjoy working away at each level 6. Even tho it's frustrating, when I try for ages and even spend gems, and don't get the draggie I want...that's the game and I learn about my emotional regulation skills and patience the hard funny way
Please don't leave Buffy, and others.... You and others make this forum as enjoyable as the game
I actually don't expect to get ALL dragons like in the valentine event. I'll try to clone the new ones and take the island, habitats, theme - things that will cost lots of gems during BEB. But I'll hope to get as much as possible from this event.
In light of this updated banking information, how should I withdraw eggs from the bank? If I recall correctly there were issues with using banked eggs. Was it if you wanted 20 eggs, it'll end up taking 25 eggs from a friend no matter what?
BFS's banked egg comes in individually so you would want to collect the 20 eggs from their tash first.
Your friend's gift comes in bundle of 25 egg, if you only need 8 eggs to max out for the day, collecting the 8 eggs from your friend will reduce his tash by 25 instead of 8.
Just to clarify, those extra eggs are not lost. They are put in the BFS bank.

I am sorry to hear that Buffy. Email BFS again and here's why. Every event I get locked out during the final weekend. All those friends sending gifts which I leave banked (around 20,000) locks me out. This last time (the Valentine event) when they finally unlocked my game 2days past the event, I did not get compensated and it was a doubles weekend with a weekend only dragon. I kept emailing them until they gave in. They did give me 100 gems for the inconvenience. So keep at them.

Wow. wow. I have already banked 2800 eggs and I missed the first two days of the event - so I was hoping too gather about 15k via this method. Well, I'm going to start making my life easier and collecting 100 gifts per day - that will cut back those pesky plants a bit!

Definitely email them again. I am so sorry to hear about how they treated you. Knowing you, I'm sure you were calm and polite in your first email. In your second, tone it up a bit - not rude, just show them that you are not happy with their response.
Also mention that you have publicised your discontent and do give evidence of times in the past when BFS have gone and edited park glitches etc.
Heres why: Currently, your just another customer who ain't happy. It's easy for BFS to ignore you, most players would give up after one email. After a second, angry email, when they know that you have publicised your anger, they will be more worried. Keep at it, perhaps explaining how much more this is angering you each time. Soon they will give in!

Now, most people have 7 gem friends, so that is 7*33*25=5775 eggs. On average most people are banking 9800 eggs, give or take a few. So really we are not losing TOO many.
However, considering that I've missed two days of the event and that I've currently banked 3000 eggs (and missed first two days of event), I'm easily on track for that figure. I'll probably miss out on 4-5k of my eggs. Instead, I'll just use some of my gifts to help get to the max and minimise plant dragon expenditure...
So, whilst it is not great, I don't see many people being able to bank 20000 tickets anyway. For those who said they could bank over 15k, how did you do it?

You're forgetting the Treatery. That's another 3 gifts per day.
I did 17,000 last event, but that was with the matching game where you could map out the entire game board in advance with the trick I discovered, and then bank all of it. I did that every day.
I also have hundreds of people on my friends list, so I get a couple unsolicited gifts every day. And of course my second park donates gems and treats to the main one.

I think "sixth sense" refers to a new Aura dragon. Are we taking a bet on this anywhere?
I think it would be a clever play on words which makes it as likely or even more likely then a 6th monolith. The only reason I'm not sure is that there is no Aura habitat available. So for new players who weren't able to get one last event, they would be out of luck, unless they make the habitat available at the same time.
They'd probably just release a slightly different Aura habitat for cash like they've got for the Mono and Snowflake habitats. Granted it's a little soon for that (I think for Snowflake and Mono they waited a few months at least), but I'd really rather a Choleric or Phlegmatic dragon than another friggan Mono!

I may be looking at this all wrong, but I think BFS gave us the answer from the beginning of the event. We saw that it was impossible to collect 50,000 currency to buy everything and they even posted a "hint" on the opening screen that if you have two, you can get all of the new dragons. I took this to mean that it was intentionally set up like the Galaxy dragons and that they are hoping players will continue to add friends, especially to include new players, to breed all of the dragons. Not everyone has multiple parks, but I intend to get one of each per park plus the marbletail at the end .... then start the coop breeding like BFS intended or just with the two I have. Sounds a lot like the monolith situation as well; any two will get the others. That makes the event very doable imo.

Hm... I wonder if I should start pulling from my friends so they all end up in the BFS bank. It would be easier to keep track of. Has anyone done this?
BFS really needs to adjust how and how much event currency can be earned and maxed out. I completely understand that the company needs to be profitable to continue, but at the same time if your players aren't enjoying the game you lose players and their money. So it's not that I have grief with the fact that the game is "hard" it's more so I have issues with how mechanical and not fun the game is now. A buffer between the earn-able event currency and total prize cost would greatly help, but profits are more important :/. I know I'm not going to be able to get all the prizes, that's fine. But knowing if I miss a few hundred here and there will add up and result in more prizes I won't be able to earn. There's no flexibility there and added with the limited dragon(s) and prize tiers equals more stress. And I want to enjoy this game I do I am addicted to this game I want to quit, but my dragons
And I don't think BFS can create new long term players now. My friend has a level 50 park, missed the previous event(s), can't max out everyday so they won't be able to get past the 2nd tier of prizes, because of this they feel like they won't be able to ever catch up and the fact they don't really have an attachment to their park they're quitting. People really seem to be getting burned out. In retrospective I should have left when they launched the galaxy dragons, that would have been a perfect end point.
