I think I might have found a solution to our collective woes regarding the 7k max of banked eggs. I saw someone on Facebook (and I've done this in the past as well) say they've emailed backflip telling them the social menu of their game keeps crashes and doesn't allow them to play the game. Backflip has then added all the total gifts (eggs, gems, and treats) to the totals and the social menu is effectively cleared. In that case, our 1000/day max would still allow us to bank 7k more eggs before the end of the event and we could in theory exceed the overall 50k limit or whatever was calculated. Couldn't hurt, right?
I think that's where my iPad is at already. Late last night I tried to collect one friends gift (300 eggs) to max out for the day )and knowing I could only use 7000 banked at the end) and simply could not. I wouldn't email to get an advantage, but I should be able to collect gifts.

Last night, traded in MEs for the 1st Chrysalis habitat, then I played w/ the 2nd habitat (was never intent to buy the 2nd just yet) on my Monolith island to see how both would fit, and inadvertently hit "Done" instead of "Cancel".
Email BFS to see if I can get credit for the eggs, and they can remove the 2nd habitat from my game...The reply I got was "unfortunately we are unable to credit gems or reverse actions made in your park in these situations."
OMG, and how many times did BFS went in players' parks and reversed their errors? Please, don't give me that can't do. I have witnessed many errors, mistakes, glitches to know what BFS can and won't do.
I have had hard time maxing out MEs, and relied much on gem buddies last few events. W/ the new banking rules, it's not really helping.
This maybe it, "the straw that breaks the camel's back."

Oh, buffy! (...... I feel so badly for u! I have been there & done that! I once accidentally spent almost all the gold bars i had at the time on dragon story...was so upset i had to quit playing for months! Surely hope u can get over it ...the forum would truly feel your absence
Bred Duskwing with chemnerds marbletail and got marbletail. So it's possible to get parents with those combos.
Same just happened to me, also with Chemnerds marbletail. This combo however was supposed to give me Lacewing lol. But same combo gave me also a Chrysolis (with somebody else s marbletail.)

Quartz is the regular monthly Crystalline. We'd have had it regardless of if there was a new event.

Its a Crystalline dragon, not a Chrysalis dragon. We get new Crystalline dragons around the 15th of each month, just like we get the next Gemstone dragon on the 1st of each month. It definitely gives you plenty of options for breeding!
Do the gift eggs we can only collect 1000 of per day after the event ends on April 4 include what we have banked? Or is it only the gifts from friends? That would really limit me if it included banked eggs. It probably wouldn't even be worth banking anymore. I hope it's just gifts from friends. But since it is phrased "After the event ends, any Magic Eggs stored in your Gift Menu must be collected in order to be added to your total." and banked eggs are stored in the gifts menu so...
That totally deserves a gem! Someone else who has learnt Ancient Greek and Latin - super cool! Above, you mean that when in the vocative case, it changes from -us to -e? If so, you get enother gem!

I go through the egg name game pretty quickly, and when I see the name I know is right, I click on it and stop looking. Today, after I clicked on Monolith for a Monolith egg, I noticed there was another "Monolith" choice before the screen changed and I got the result, "No, its a Monolith egg" as a dark blue Monolith dragon hatched. Presumably the Monolith choice I made was a different color Monolith, which as we all know, you can't tell from the egg. And although the game clearly distinguishes among them, they don't name them differently either. Tricky. I will look for the same trick for Snowflake too.
However, besides that, the egg game is usually a very welcome easy 200 eggs, so I'm not complaining.
In the egg name game i often double check with the pictures in the dragonarium. If you wait to long before going back to the game, the proposed egg has changed. A good trick to avoid being trapped by a monolith or snowflake egg. Just wait a few minutes and the egg will be another one.
We're sorry for any disappointment about this. We're listening and always look for ways we can improve. What we learned after recent events, is that technical issues were experienced when certain players' parks that had too many gifts stored at the end of the event. So we had to decide to put some safety measures in place, and still allow players to receive gifts above and beyond the daily earning max. That's why users must now collect the gifts from the gifts menu, while sticking to the 1,000 daily max during the week after the event. Keep in mind, you can always Coop breed for the dragons you need in your collection, while spending your hard earned Magic Eggs on the limited event prizes you want.
Sounds a bit like an excuse. I would have preferred it if they'd just fixed the social menu so it can handle as many gifts as we can manage to stuff in there.
I used mono 1 and 2 in the EBC and got a 20 hr timer, which means it can be 3,4 or 6.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think that's a Mono6. It's a 24 hour dragon, making it 19h12m right? Maybe someone else can clarify as I have not yet managed to breed kne myself!

What're you talking about. I've been waiting for a sixth dragon to put in my freshly upgraded Monolith Habitat that holds... five... dragons...Oh hooray! Another Monolith dragon! said almost no one ever. (Sorry, but I don't find them particularly interesting.)
