Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what exploit? Also, the timer for the doubles weekend says it's 4 days, so would it be Tuesday morning? (Unless I'm incorrectly assuming the exploit has to do with timing kairos for just prior to when doubles weekend ends) This is only my 2nd event so I'm still learning the best practices =)
Re-unlurking here. I have recently returned to DragonVale and am certainly enjoying it! The event looks like fun, but I missed the last three, so, maybe that's why
I joined Mountain Sun right away, and I don't think I will regret it as it doesn't seem to have a very large impact. Koalas to all!
Also, I have payed off all gems I owed to different people when I quitted

Dandara Morais I had my Chrome in co-op for a while and someone just gave me an Iron Blossom twin. I'm not sure who did it, so I can't ask the combo, but I'm guessing they used Iron Blossom. It made me very happy anyway

I would like to know this as well.
the exploit is to load the game ~5-10 minutes before the reset on the final day of doubles/triples (Tuesday morning if it is indeed 4 days, I didn't look at the timer, just used to 3 days), and so doubles are active. Then you stay in the game for the reset (no visiting friends' parks, no reloading in any way) and the exploit will be that you will get doubles active for as long as you can remain in game (depends on your device, time availability for the game, etc). I recommend using Kairos after the reset to help get you closer to the max limit. If the daily limit is 1,000 rings on a regular day, and 2,000 on a double day, any amount over 1,000 is seen as profiting. Of course you also need to start a new round in the Arena and leave it there until some point later in the day to bank those rings too. Hopefully this makes sense, I know there was a better explanation in one of the other event threads regarding this but not sure where.

Is the limit for today 2000 +150 gift =2150 rings?
Yes it is! If you maxed out yesterday your total will be 3300.
I accidentally bought rings instead of gems so my total is 3600 something rings right now. I guess rings you buy don't count against your daily max? I wanted to kick myself for being impulsive and not looking close enough. Oh well.

Rayne Auster stated "I tried these combos and burnt through over 600 gems. Zero luck, The only success I had was with Iron Bolt earlier before this post ."
Tatiana Valeonti responded with "well, that's sad. Kimberly said that it wasn't easy, so I'm guessing, the other combos aren't as successful as thorn."
Rayne Auster followed with "Tatiana Valeonti, Im still skeptical as a LOT of people have been reporting fails with darkling and Kimberly appears to be the only one that has had any luck in this thread... with the exception of one other success with darkling... it really seems to bee heavily weighted against us.'

That has definitely happened to me before! Makes you wish there was an undo or Ctrl-Z option haha. And you are right, purchases don't count toward the max so 3300 for today unless you buy rings above and beyond that!
I was unable to bank my Arcane Arena winnings last night... collected them after I had hit max and they apparently disappeared into the ether. I had a wonky spell before I hit the max so maybe that confused my ring accountant.

Oh man, I actually did some combo crunching but totally forgot to post it. Here you go So, anyone have any ideas as to what to use in the CoOp when someone is sharing one of the Olympic type event dragons?
