Sooo much to remember in this event ...my "notes" page is going to be chock-full ! Thanks too to munzy119 & scurrilousrogue for the extra rings u sent me! AND to jv for my first twin of the event! (Got so excited i forgot to check what it was...think is an iron blossom )....) lol!

I'm glad everyone is able to pick up iron blossom fairly easily --- except kiwichris who apparently went through the bramble patch to get there --- I'm buying a habitat for them thanks to Lil Jo's twin and 2 (!) from MtykFarm0! Thank you all for the pretty dragon; love it's coloring. Onward to Hidden Bolt - any luck out there?

What are the best breeding combos for each of the new 'house' dragons? I see a few comments about using Thorn with Iron Blossom, but what about the other four?

Has anyone had any luck breeding the new Olympus dragons (Thunderbolt etc)?
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890
There is no reason that obtaining Iron Blossom with a combo plant metal will be made impossible. In fact, all bonusses dragons are breadable. If you look at their display window (look into prices) you will note that: Blazing Gale is fire + air Hidden bolt is dark + lightning Icy torrent is ice + water Iron blossom is plant + metal Mountain sun is earth + light Same breeding time of 22 hours for all of them I also noted that we have in fact to go through the Omnitier first to get the interesting rewards. Still not decided for which element I go ...
Re-unlurking here. I have recently returned to DragonVale and am certainly enjoying it! The event looks like fun, but I missed the last three, so, maybe that's why
I joined Mountain Sun right away, and I don't think I will regret it as it doesn't seem to have a very large impact. Koalas to all!
Also, I have payed off all gems I owed to different people when I quitted

hahaha success! Pixie better love the twin thorns, I got one on the first try as well and now have the timer for the iron blossom. Hidden bolt is back to being blue-hearted. Amazing!

What about the 0 people who have come forward and said that those combos worked for them?
I mean, the combo for Labradorite has fire+air. You'd think someone would have gotten Blazing Gale from that.

I have darkling in coop with skeeters hidden bolt. I have already bred (6 attempts) iron blossom with thorn so here's hoping darkling and hidden bolt works. Hope this helps goldenfire!
So if I understand correctly, no one has been successful breeding any house dragon using any combination with the exception of the very fertile combo, thorn and iron blossom. Hence logic would dictate that either thorn and iron blossom is a bug that will be corrected or the other dragons are the problem and should be breedable but are not and that will be corrected. Using the philosophy of Occam's razor, I will go with the simpler theory and assume the thorn/iron blossom combo is the issue. Glad I was able to breed one. Hope everyone has been lucky. Koala to all.

I was unable to get into my game during the period when the wishing well (and tons of other stuff) was originally available so I do not have the wishing well. Does that mean that I will not be able to make use of whatever will be available from the wishing well that is in my park during this event, other than throwing in coins and getting the occasional reward that is? I figure without a wishing well already purchased a wish would be rather useless. Do you think the wishing well might be made available to buy?

I believe i saw a cut & pasted quote from facebook somewhere (wiki, here?) in which BF said that DValers that still have their original wishing well (and have not used the wish yet) will NOT lose their well...
So, anyone have any ideas as to what to use in the CoOp when someone is sharing one of the Olympic type event dragons?
The DV Breeding App suggested using a Cyclops, but it has been wrong before.
Hopefully Robotron updates the DV Sandbox soon.
