Welcome!!!! What is everyone breeding on their island right now? Since we can't breed house dragons, I don't know what to breed haha
I've got Gold in the CBC trying to get a Stygian, Valor x Zombie on the Island trying for a second Valor, and Cyclops x Squall in the cave trying for a second Squall (and having 0 luck... all Cyclops fails!). My blue-hearted dragon right now is actually Blazing Gale though... trying for twins with my baby park and anyone else who has BG and wants another. As soon as I get a second for that, I'll be buying the final house dragon I need, Mountain Sun, and trying for twins there too.
I think I'm going to rotate in Plant x Lightning to help with some short fails in between the long ones so Gaia doesn't have to do so much work hatching, but since Ivy is low-priority, I'm not in a hurry.

They practically already have the dragon type; it wouldn't be difficult to turn Neoteric into a dragon carrying its head around..How fun!
I just bought all the pylons today. I'm glad I did. They have some really cool animations. I don't know where they will end up but for now they line the 2 front edges of the lost Olympus island with an Olympus reward habitat in the back corner and I love all the movement on the island.

I didn't realize we could breed Olympus dragons on our island. I've been wasting so much time!! I have tried for twins using my house dragon in the CBC but gave up after multiple fails. I only need herald and figure I will get that with the last egg:)

Hello all. I've been playing Dragonvale for 3+ years. Just joined the community today but I've been reading the posts since the beginning of the current event. I'm enjoying the humor and support that you give to one another!
After breeding my Zombie non-stop in the coop with "I can't remember whose Valor", I finally have a Valor coming interestingly, Zombie never made an appearance as a fail.
So in ~25 hours when I open my last gift, I will be fire breathing again, as Kairos and Gaia will both be waiting to speed the last bit of the Valor hatching, and the last gift will give me Squall. I will still need seconds and eggs of Squall, Valor, and 4 of the House dragons, but that seems do-able now.
The only decos I have left to buy are the bouncy mushroom and the heated air balloon, the pedestals I might just buy, now that I don't need to spend rings buying dragons.
I have really enjoyed this event, it hasn't felt rushed or pressured, though I realise from all the whining, that I have managed exceptional luck with breeding the Olympus dragons.
So, lots and lots of koala to everyone, I hope you achieve your goals.

It is so funny just how close you and I are in what we're doing this week! Now, if I can just get the Valor - hate to think my having the balloon already is what's keeping Valor from my park!!

So we have a week starting Monday, August 28 to just collect 1000 rings from our bank once a day totaling 7000? Is that the deal? And on September 4th we are done getting rings from our bank and the rest converts to food. Then we have ten days until September 14th to use the rings and make purchases? Is that it?

The dates are a bit confusing.
We get our last Gift tomorrow, but we can continue to collect 1000 rings a day from our Park until the 6th September, then the event ends.
We then have a week until the 13th of September to collect 1000/day from our banked rings, and the Prize Tent will remain open to buy things.
Then on the 14th, all the remaining Rings we have will be converted to treats.
