A million gems for the tip, stuck my thorn and someone's IB in CBC right away, sped up two thorns and third try was 22 hours! Hopefully that's one dragon less I'll need! I joined hidden bolt so I've got that dragon already.

Tried Darkling level 15 with a Hidden Bolt level 20 and only got 3 Wraiths and 1 Spark so far...has anybody else gotten a Hidden Bolt with that combo?
If anyone already with a Bolt wants to try with my Darkling, it's up for co-op. Let me know how it goes!
I doubt that combo is going to work, as there *are* other breeding outcomes possible, Thorn x Iron Blossom doesn't have anything else that can come out beyond the two of them.
I'd like to hear from anyone who *did* get it to work, rather than 'I heard from ....'
Wow, that's an eventful event. But questions are what can we bank? If the matching game doesn't work like during the roses event, so it can be safely played (Or not) without writing down the combinations, right? Which game gives the biggest number of rings? is there a list of arena events? to maximise the ring gain and get the right elements

So decided to buy some gems for this event it blipped so reprocessed as nothing seemed to have happened and went through second time where the gems did appear. Got the email bill and been billed twice :/ who best to contact to either get credited with right amount of gems or refund?
I got it figured out now. The Thorn one is working 50/50 because it is a unique expired ie thorn x thorn = thorn. But Darkling x Darkling also gives Wraith, Spark or Wisp. I hadn't tested this one myself, but had been told it worked for someone else, sorry
Worked like a charm with iron blossom. Not so much for darkling x hidden bolt. Still getting spark, wraith
I also kept getting spark and wraith from the Darkling x Hidden Bolt combo. Sped a handful of them up, and so far no Bolt Dragon...I guess that's why they call it "hidden". LOL.

I am so fed up with NEVER getting the runs of luck in these types of events; so, used all my gems, bought 50 more, used all of those and FINALLY after about 8 Thorns, and a twin Thorn for lil Jo, got an iron blossom timer ... Whew now need my fillings replaced :/ oh, and achieved daily limit due to having to gem out and sell all the extra Thorn eggs lol Need to generate a more sane sense of perspective now....ommmm Thanks lil Jo

Is it better to breed iron blossom with iron blossom for the egg or just use thorn and iron blossom?
Don't know the chances of Iron Blossom x Iron Blossom, but using a level 17 Thorn x a level 20 Iron Blossom got me an Iron Blossom on the third try. Third time was the charm for both Iron Blossoms I bred...with one Thorn fail being a twin in both cases (I.e. Twin Thorn fail, Thorn fail, Iron Blossom).
Seems i have noone sharing Icy Torrent on my list - wanted to test to see if it was possible...
