Last year, I had posted that I hoped the next year's Whitbees event would have a "Giant Spooky Habitat" that would hold 5 spooky-type dragons and would have a slightly different look (but same colors), be a little bigger, and a little higher cap on DC earnings. No dice. We just got a second one. But its still cool, and now I need to figure out if I want to get a second one, which means I have to disrupt the layout of my spooky island...which I don't want to do! Decisions, decisions!
I also wish they had brought back last year's event island buildings and made them purchasable with candy. They were SO cool, compared to this year's buildings, which are kind of...meh. Love the new island theme though. Very cute.
There will always will be a banking limit now. What event was that, where some of us had like 20-30k+ of the event currency banked at the end? lol They aren't going to let that happen again.
All in all, I love the Halloween holiday and this event.
What I love: Another spooky habitat Eerie theme New path Decay dragon Free dragon at end of calendar again The pumpkins don't move (and I counted 7-8, got 1 gem from the big one, wasn't keeping track of what kind)
Like: Bog dragon Thicket dragon The decorations the return of the phases of the moon for lycan No apparent problems with the event arena, unlike the pentournament (for me) The return of cool spooky type dragons
Not crazy about: Garden dragon I'm sure, a banking limit

This is a bad timing for me... I'm going to China and Vietnam soon, and DV won't load in China at all (I suspect they banned the server that DV is on). I suspect Vietnam won't be any better. So I will miss most of the new dragons. I don't know how to get them again, since they are not epics. Maybe I should hire a dragon sitter :/
Bring Everything Back will be soon (December) and I expect everything released this year to come back and be breedable then. (not legendary of course)
At the end of the update are we going to get a wish for our well because I really want two dragons but only have 1 wish so if we get a wish i can get both.

So excited for this event! Had a rough work day so this is the perfect stress reliever! I'm about to spend the next hour or so exploring, playing and planning! 😁 Yay!

I love the Eerie Theme with its turquoise mushrooms, it will look nice with some of the new Rune Stones when we get a new Island. The number of scary dragons, including the Dark Dragons, is increasing!

Some of the layouts in the Dragon Drop game have changed! I did terribly but really liked the addition of the new bits that shrink first instead of disappearing immediately.

I didn't even realize he was like a pumpkin! Thought there must be more of him around for Holloween, till I tapped and read the bit about his being, er, kind of the president this term...

I play DV on an android device, and since I updated for this event I can no longer see my friends that play on apple devices... They can gift and visit me but i cant gift them back or find them in my social menu to visit. Has anyone else had this happen or know how to fix it??

In addition, a stylus comes in handy to keep from getting a callous on your finger tapping all the pumpkin-headed visitors thinking they are one of the small candy giving pumpkins.
One giant Pumpkin = 50 Candies + 1 Gem Two large Pumpkin = 30 Candies each Two medium Pumpkins = 20 Candies each Five small Pumpkins = 10 Candies each
Total of 200 Candies from Pumpkins.
Whitbee = 50 Candies + 1 Gem
Total of 250 Candies towards your max of 1000 Candies per day.
The 100 Candies from the Tutorial and any given by the Hall of Hallows DO NOT count toward your max.
