The odds of getting event dragons seem so low this event. We have only bred 7 event dragons (3 Ponds, 1 Duskwing, 1 Lacewing, 1 Glowwing and 1 Cumulus) this whole time with four games going and playing every day. I am so happy to get the free dragon today because my hidden habitat only had Pond in it.
Has anyone bred Plateau yet? I have got two correct timers only for them to be Vortex and a few other fails.
In other news, I am so shocked that I got a Wavelyte on the first try today. I have the Island and Coop going for event dragons, but the cave was open.

You're lucky to get seven over four parks. So far, I've bred a big fat zero, though I'm probably not using the best combinations, due to the Sandbox not having the new dragons.

They're labelled w pics in DV wiki then you can label/number yours as you breed them.; noones found a differentiating aspect for the pedestals lol... A valer (? Shanda2lee maybe?) a few pages back gave the whole list and differentiating descriptions

The story continues with me being roped into becoming a mod here at the DragonVale Community. Again, YOUR FAULT! If I had quit the game instead of being able to breed those dragons I would still have my freedom.

Well I'm caving. Never had ZERO luck at breeding before, but it is what it is. Used last on glowwing and about to by all the others. should have just did that to start... then i can just spend time breading them together and hope for eggs. rough plan, about, what, five days left to try. here goes nothing then!!!

I bred plateau using the suggested combo. I accidentally bought stoneshell yesterday instead of getting it free grrrrr I have all of the event dragons but have bought them all except starwing and glowing. I haven't been able to breed a single hidden dragon or pond!!! I can't even breed them using one of them and an elder! So frustrating!!

OK, so I get the hidden eggs are supposed to be Hidden but hiding out on my egg island is a bit annoying. Actually hiding on my egg island right behind an egg, of a similar color no less, is just being ornery...

I just got a Plateau tonight. I'm probably going to name it GemBrner, or something like that. Cost me a good 200. :/

Hi all, I am going on a 4 day hike up in the Australian Alps starting Tuesday so I won't be able to gift for a few days (my GCID is onejoebloggs). We're in the Jagungal Wilderness area and there's no mobile reception.
I've been reading about all your Tales Of Woe getting the hidden dragons, and I solved my own TOW by buying them + pedestals. No spare treats for me : but no missing dragons.

Hello all:) I am brand new to the forum but not to DV. And I just had to say, I was totally not able to breed the hidden ones no matter what I tried! I did breed a marbletail, glowwing, and starwing which was nice so then I used my eggs to get the hiddens. So far I'm only missing two event dragons, swallowtail and pond. (I've tried to breed pond so many times haha and nothing!)
Arg. Napkin math says I'd be right on the edge of being able to afford both the Lost Island and the Monument if I skip one of the two new chrysalis dragons, but it's close and knowing my luck I'd come up short by enough I wouldn't want to spend the $ to make up the difference.
So, I'm leaning towards the Lost Island of the two, since I don't have tons of dragons at 15 yet (nor the income/food to get everything to 15 or some things to 20) and it looks to be the less commonly available (inasmuch as you can make a prediction given that the Monument's been around for less than a year) of the two with regards to events. Seem reasonable, think?

Pond has has been the most stubborn to breed for me using a purchased Pond with high level Plant, but it can be done! Hope you have a friend who will put a Pond up for you in the co-op. The moral of this story is: Always Buy The Really Limited Dragons When You Can!
I also got seconds of all the other Hidden Dragons using the purchased ones with Elders - Cumulus/Air, Plateau/Earth, Tulip/Plant. Stoneshell/Starwing got me another Stoneshell too! Now ready to breed for the pedestals when the Event is over.
I think I might have spent about 200 gems for speed-ups during the whole Event.
ps, you may find a special affinity for N/A, who was chosen to be the Fan joining the BFS group that developed the design for Portent! You can find his posts about that extraordinary event somewhere here. Maybe N/A will point you to them 😉

I am missing one lady flag holder and also the "wizard in black" ... maybe they ran away together ... also missing each a pink and a blue egg ... what shall we deduct from all these facts I suspect a tragic romance. If you see them, send them back please
I did not breed any event dragon, at all. Despite trying none stop in all 3 spots with best combo possible and with some gem speed-ups, the only dragon I managed to get through this whole event is one Sumi, which isn't even an event dragon... Either I'm really unlucky, or BFS made the breeding odd aweful. I sure hope this is not the new trend. Should be able to buy all dragons and one hidden habitat, but won't be able to afford any new decor :/
