Cactus with Lightning + Geode with Earth, whilst Rift trait is Air, just got me a Plumewing Dragon.

Sucessfully bred a Rifty Dawnbringer today! I used Blazing and Abyss to finally get it. I could get it if I resume to Chromacorn, but I'm tired of getting junk fails.

Isn't this beast pretty? I shall try for Rift Sapphire to observe how pretty it will be. (And maybe get Rift Winter and Lunar Eclipse along the way.

Plumewing and Kampos do that: they don't require any elements, just an Air or Water trait respectively and the Rift alignment counts for that. So on Air day any combo can give you a Plumewing, any combo on Water day can give Kampos... and while it's available, any combo on Fire day can give a Yolkwing.

Last time you reported getting a Sonic dragon which would be unexpected without the Air Element, but this one is working as intended.

^ Huh. Yeah, the other element for Plumewing is Fire, which wasn’t in the mix either. So basically, you can get a few elements without buying them. Maybe that’s where mine came from.

I think you're not alone! I have acquired a few missing rifties with the R/DR combo, but no sign of the Chromacorn. I shall just plod on and try not to be too disappointed when I get to the end of BEB without him/her.

Me too! Had RB and DRB right from the start, been breeding through the two 10,000E breeds and even sometimes the 15,000E breeds every single day and no sign of Chromacorn. I refuse to waste a Wish to get it. This is supposed to be a DRAGON BREEDING game, not a DRAGON BUYING/WISHING FOR game.

Add me to the list of the unicornless who have been trying from the beginning. The only upside is that my hibernation cave is filling up with dragons I wouldn’t have had for a while otherwise.. After the mythical Chromacorn leaves, i’ll Have to concentrate on saving E for rift expansion & more habitats.

Another chromacorn-less valer here too...sadly it's because I have had zero luck getting the rifted double rainbow! I've tried ever since chromacorn was released...nada. even purchasing epic eggs (though I have gotten many twin dragons that I didn't have...so it's not all bad).

Ditto .. i bought one with a wish, then tried all combos, low level R and DR, level 17 R and DR, chromacorn and R, chrimacron and DR. Nothing, nada. I even tried R + R as was the original hint , you never know.... i got almost every dragon possible and even their eggs when same fails happened. And up to 10000 E.
When BEB is over they will tell us that ... sorry but actually the cmbo should have read ..... whatever.
Oh, btlw, i suddenly have the three gimmicks to get extra gems if you watch an advert ... out of the blue.

I think it must have been my indifference that won the day, lol.  I had given up all hope, but always breed something in the rift each day, so just went through the motions and it popped up.  (wishes I could say it was my sparkling personality but nope lol)

My daily routine since Chromacorn came onto the scene was to breed Rainbow/Double /Rainbow up to 10,000 - check to see if it earned over 1,000,000 and if it did I'd sell it, if not I'd release it. Trawling blithely through this morning - "yup - over a million" - about to hit the sell button when I realised it was an unfamiliar egg - nearly fell off my chair! CHROMACORN!!!!

Now I'm so shocked I think I need to go back to bed.
