Two fun rifty things happened lately. I got a Nimbus 4th try with Fire Rift(17) and Water Rift(17) Light alignment. I bred a Dream (non-rift, of course) with Air Rift(14) and Shadow Rift(11)(lightning) Air alignment. Surprise for me!!

Oh no, it's certainly an appropriate observation! I noticed it myself a couple of events ago. The progress bar shows what everyone has contributed, and the 21,398 Spice is what you have gathered so far. We are getting close to earning our reward!
I had to upgrade my rift hibernation cave today and noticed that there's another tier beyond Regal, which is called Renowned.
Hopefully, we'll be able to upgrade our habitats to Renowned at some point as well. It's really annoying that even the largest ones fill up in like 2 hours.

I just need one more dragon to get my dragonarium breathing fire again. But that wretched Viridian is proving very elusive.
I have the correctly traited Dodo and Malachite, and every morning I repeat breed them until I get to the 5,000 level. I was wondering if there's one of the rift alignments which favour the Viridian. If this is the case, I could use the off days to fill a few of the remaining gaps in my rift collection.
One more to go to reach the 48 limit, with mostly Regal and dragons spread to give each island four inhabitants plus a few with five. Then I suppose I just plod on clearing miasma and upgrading all to Regal.
I can't help hoping Backflip has some long term plan to make the cluster of rather boring looking islands a more attractive galaxy.

Can rift dragons be cloned? Say I breed my virdian dragon with another dragon, would it be possible to get another one? Or do I have to follow the breeding hint.
I’m having a terrible time getting the specified rift dragons. So far I’ve only gotten Plumbwing, Thunderbird and Antumbra. I’ve been using the recommended “recipes” and the associated rift alignment, but I keep getting a bunch of non-rift results.
I say try and make new recipes because what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for someone else. Instead of using tree use moss or maybe even garden. I'll be honest I have tried being strict with those recipes and following to the letter but then I get annoyed when I get fails or get the dragon without a rift trait that I just toss in random dragons and bam success!!!
Looking through my list and most of the rifts dragons I only have them because I bought them with event currency or E. The only ones I have really managed to breed are Antumbra, Kampos, Plumewing, Frostfluff, and Thunderbird. Both Kampos and Plumewing I got with spore and metal, water day and air day respectively. Antumbra I got with tree w/light and shadow w/earth on earth day. Frostfluff I got with ash w/lighting and ghost w/earth on cold day.

So far the only dragons I have been able to clone are voltaic and blightwing. But then again I haven't really being trying to clone the rest since I'm still trying to breed for 4 others plus the new event rifties. Once I get one of the ones I'm missing I'll start trying to clone for seconds and pedestals.

No success getting frostfluff yet... Are these simple breeding combos that should work? All w/rift element... mtn + spectre Mtn + glacier Mtn + earth plus try during cold alignment ... Have i left something out..any suggestions on what might be better? Thanks 😃

They should work but in my experience simple doesn't get me anything. I got my Frostfluff as a fail while trying for the spooky rifts. Got it with ash w/lighting and ghost w/earth on cold day. And while trying simple breeds for feast I got nothing then I tossed in the elements also needed for harvest and seraph and boom two harvest back to back.

Thank you BFS for the lovely rifty bundles!! Now all I need is ghast, nimbus, and viridian and I'll have my dragorium breeding fire. So I'm hoping I can breed the first two in the following days and then hatch my mystery egg and hopefully it's viridian. Then again you know dragon law the one you want the most will be the hardest to breed!!

I just got Frostfluff today.
I just went Cold Rift Dragon + Earth Rift Dragon when the Park was sent to Cold Rift.

Hi there! If you check your dragonarium, the dragons which can be bred in the Rift have the Rift glyph top left in their wee box... A good way to check on what's possible and what's not😊 Also, if you're new to this forum, if you check the Opening Posts of any thread on a topic you're interested in, lots of info and hotlinks are provided there why not join us? CORRECTION: apparently you can BREED all sorts, but only those w Rift glyphs will have traits and live in the Rift; thanks sbf... Leaving all this Rifty stuff to the Lords of the Vale from now on 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Trying to get down to the business of breeding elemental rifties. In 8 breeds I got 1 rift trait dragon 😖😖😖
Sigh 😔 I guess I was spoiled by all those rift failures I got multiples of during the Om of Noms.
Oh well, tomorrow’s a new day with new breeds.
