BeB Rift Breeding report, PFC edition.

So I've been breeding Flower/Poison with Evergreen/Lichen, to get the elements Plant + Fire + Cold, going after particular Christmas gifts.

I got Trinket almost right away, and Reindeer a day or two later. Pepper also made its Rift debut.
(along with the expected throng of Auroras and LY's, as well as a Delight or two).

Then. Today. Two new limited-time event dragons are released. And the Sleighbell dragon can be rift-bred!
So I shifted gears and put my new Reindeer to work, along with an Obsidian to provide the FE.

And it worked! It took 5 or 6 attempts, and I got a new Ornament pedestal along the way.

Then I switched back to PFC, and rounded out the day with Regift and Gift.

A pretty good day, much luck to everyone in your Rifting.

Wooohoooo I got my Traited Epoch!!! Ohh he is just too cute!!!
Changed my breeding pairs to try for sleigh bell, thank goodness reindeer was one of my earlier breeds. Nothing today but I did get a few more hybrids and golden hybrids I was missing. Did get Oni and Spectre but of course they weren't traited. Going to keep trying tomorrow.hopefully I'll have better luck.

Also even worse when I get a limited dragon or golden hybrid I really need a trait for and yet, it never had a trait...

The Mystery Eggs are failing me as well, I keep getting the same Rift dragons I already have. I think my park is broken.

Since beb has started I’m at 39 rainbows with 18 being aurora. Whoo hoo. (NOT). Still have a few weeks left. Currently tied with 2 years ago for numbers of auroras. Can’t wait to see if this year will beat it. Last year I gave up and stopped breeding at all during beb. Good news is 90% are in the rift and instabreeds.

Oooo, he's so pretty! And a total surprise! Can't remember what combo I used, but definitely wasn't expecting a Panlong! 
Now I need a rifty Bloom... Storm X Trick has been producing some fun and interesting results. Hopefully a Garland or a Wyrmwood will pop out next.

Nowhere near your numbers of auroras and dble LYs and rainbows, have also had a scattering storm of Olympic's, a smattering sleeting of Treasures, AND NOT A SKERRICK OF A SIGN OF A SIMPLE GOURD 😨😰😱😱😱😱 despite breeding in two and occasionally 3 caves 😂😂😂😂😂
such a weird relief to have a similar story; BeB I guess is great for those valers with loads of draggies still to gather; 
and yes the Rift is showing some benefits now indeed but still no Gourd 😂
( but then it may not be available unless cloning with one as a parent, according to the Ingame tips, sigh)

Woohoo, a,good day in the rift.

Been breeding Nesting+Kite forma couple days now with not much to speak of as a result. I was going tomchange up a bit, but decided to try once more and got, one right after the other and all traited, the folloiwing:

Jetstream
Molten
Garland
Faire
Lycan
Regift

Feel like I ate some of that peach/whiskey trifle, lol.

Has anyone gotten a traited mistletoe? I have been trying lichen (lvl 17) and tree (lvl 16) up to the 5000e breeding level for days. And nada.

I got 1 a couple days back, now I'm stuck trying for a traited Holly. Yesterday's breeding was abysmal...

 I love my new nickname. Honestly though I don't mind being tagged, I was just a bit surprised. I didn't think I'd done enough quest hunting to deserve being the first person that came to mind when you were after a quest solution? Maybe it's just my stupid name gets lodged up there, like certain songs do.

Also I'm like 98% sure the post was Rion's from mid-page 73. I quoted it at the top of page 74 to add a dubiously useful subset that I'd taken note of for some reason. My post is completely useless to me now: I keep getting the main target dragon of a combo without getting any of the sub-targets, so I've just been checking things off of Rion's list.

Think I might try Liberty + Coal next, I missed getting Nether, Bicentennial and Kite on my first combos that could get them, and that has a shot at all three...

Anyone come up with anything good for Faire? My initial trials have managed to add Kite to the mix but nothing else useful.

Yeah, Holly's a locked combo, so I can't really double up on anything else while I'm working on it... Got a regular Holly yesterday, so I know I'm using the right dragons. But haven't had any luck today either. Got a second rifted Mistletoe but nothing else. Wondering if I should try for Century instead.

Don't worry about it Kiwichris, I only decided to add the locked breeding combos because some other members were talking about dragons with locked combos! It's always a community effort.

Arkynos - I finally got a Faire (Plant) with Spore and Tempest.

rion - Got a Century (Dark) today using Rain and Thundersnow.

I got my traited Bloom, and then and un-traited Wyrmwood (🎉) with rifty Bloom X rifty Panlong. No luck yet on the un-traited Garland. I've gotten two traited ones so far, so as long as BEB continues for a few more days, the regular one should be forthcoming. I hope.  

I wish the Dragonarium had a traited hybrid section that was separate from all the regular dragons. Mine is now showing Garland as checked off even though I don't have an un-traited one. That doesn't feel right. Maybe I'm just weird? I feel like the regular, un-traited dragon should count towards completion of the collection and the rifty ones are just some extra fun on the side.

Is there really a point in keeping twin rifts? I don't plan on trying to collect all twin rifts. If I have already fed up a rift dragon, I really don't want to have to replace it and I don't want to clog up the hibernation cave with extras.
