I need a matrix that lists all Rift dragons on the vertical axis and all available traits on the horizontal axis. Then I can print it out and colour it in with pretty colours as I continue to breed rifts. The colouring in on a printed piece of paper with pretty colours is important to the child in me :-).
Perhaps beside each dragon name could be the elements of the dragon.
Probably best to separate out the one-trait rifts, actually.
Oh, yaaas. Color-coded charts.😍 I take my list and chart making very seriously. My husband knows my obsession with pens (and office supplies) very well. He got me a big package of Ultra-fine point Sharpies for my birthday a couple months ago. Limited Edition colors, even, to add to the rest of my collection. Best present, ever! Ultra-fine tipped Sharpies are my crack, and my lists are so pretty.😄
I do love pretty lists - so how about a photo of your list? Also didn't know Sharpie made Ultra fine points, so I'm off to Officeworks on the hunt.

Something like this? It's just the hybrids and opposites, because most of the rest of the Rifts are single trait.
If anyone needs to fill their rift habitats try breeding Spore plus Thorn in your main park in any cave. Breeding and hatching is instant and doesn't use Etherium and now I have a small Spore Army! 😉🐉💕

They changed it just now, as I was in the middle of breeding more, but I think I'll be okay.
Now, Thorn + Spore sadly only produces basic Plants and Metals.
Very impressive. I wouldn't want to take my little army against yours!
I am happy for those that were able to get some Spores and possibly Plant Rifts, sad for those that missed it. I got to get on 2 more of our devices/family games to get a few each after my game, but missed it for the other one.
If only BFS would answer questions and/or our emails as quickly as fixing a glitch in our favor. Ha!
BFS - I'm expecting my log in egg to be fixed today to be one I have not received. You have about 5 hours to do so. 😉

I made myself a speardsheet that does just this, except colours in the squares for me when I enter 1 in the column. I love spread sheets... and colours

There is no guarantee the login egg will be one you do not already have. I don't think that is a bug but "Working as intended"

Lightning came first, so I use l for lightning and L for light (most of my letters are lowercase.)
Love the chart, it's a really good idea. I think the letters will confuse me though, so I'm going to use emoji when I make mine. Probably 🌱🔥⛰❄️⚡️💧🌪🔗✨🌑, but one or two might change. Part of me is very tempted to use 🤘 for Metal.

skeeter622 Yup! You've ruled out layout 1 and 3. Go one more in that direction, if there's a shadow you're on layout 5. If not, clear 1 to the left. If there's a shadow there you're on 2, if not then you're on 4.
Arkynos I cleared one more to the left and nothing. I have to keep wasting E to get to my tower? It costs 2100 + E to clear 1 cloud.

Err, sure? I was just going to stick stuff into a NotExcel!Google Doc. I could send the link when it's done? Or screenshots if you'd prefer a printable version. It'll look pretty similar to magpac's one in the end, though I might end up ordering by element rather than alphabetically, not sure yet.

If you cleared all 4 squares with the X's on them and there's no shadows, then you're one of the unlucky people on layout 4, without a building down the test path. Your hibernation cave is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Your tower is in the very top square of the Rift, not actually that far away. Clear up and left from the square you cleared above the spire on the Rift entrance island.
If the cost of clearing is getting out of hand, you might want to take a break from it to up E production a bit. The clearing will pay itself back in the end when you've filled the Rift with habitats and need more space for them, but getting the habitats and dragons first is probably an efficiency gain. (My clearing cost is over 5000 now... 😫)
Dandelion is just a normal golden hybrid, thankfully, not rifty. Presumably released to show that they've not just abandoned the main park.

Heh, yeah, best to get that last square out of the way first. Last thing you want is to clear into the top corner thinking you're on layout 4 and not finding anything because you're on 2 and it was right there.

Woohoo! Just got my first rift dragon... Kampos! So thrilled! Much thanks & appreciation to Arkynos, Cyn, Magpac and sooo many others who have posted helpful tips & helps ! Could not have done it without you as i have NOOOO idea what i am doing when i am in the rift So much information & such confusing things to do...really reminds me of my first days in DV when my wonderful grandsons were taking me by the hand & walking me through with so much patience & good advice... When i am overwhelmed (which is frequently!) i follow the great advice on the forum: don't get discouraged & just plunge in ... am buying habitats daily & upgrading when able (thanks Magpac) and clearing fog/mist when i can & following Arkynos' very excellent formulas for breeding, bringing over my rift dragons from the REAL vale, saving new rift hybrids, etc etc... Thanks so much to all of you who post your experiences & tips!!

A lot of people mistakenly thought not, but if you were missing one or more dragons from the category that was given on that day, you got an unowned dragon. Now if you were on a rare egg day, had all of those, but were missing epics, you didn't get an epic egg. This latest update unowned dragons are no longer guaranteed. I myself am upset they changed it.

Even before the last update, there was no guarantee. Backflip never said "You will get a dragon you don't have already in this category at this point" -- people assumed it because that was what they saw happening. So yes, the probability of getting a dragon you don't have has changed (and I've been bit by it because I got a repeat Galaxy dragon instead of the Singularity I was missing just a couple of days after the update!).
