I consider the rift version of a dragon a different dragon than the non rift one. So if I had a poison rift with fire trait, in my main park, I'd still keep my old plain poison dragon too. The dragonarium is inconsistent with handling these, for example the plant rift dragon is listed as it's own dragon, but the poison rift one shows under plain poison. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets changed sometime soon to add consistency.
Hmm, I don't really think they will, since the rift hybrids are basically recolours/retextures of the existing hybrids, while the elemental rifts are completely new designs.
That being said, I'd love to see some visuals of how the elementals "morphed" into the elemental rifts, to highlight their connection...

I am pretty sure I saw a post a while back saying that Kairos didn't affect the rift. I sped Kairos today after collecting etherium, and the habitats were full of etherium again. So it looks liks BFS has fixed this issue along with the other tweaks that have been made to the rift.

It has always refilled the habitats with etherium. What is has not done is speed up the ship or the transferring of dragons to/from the rift.

Well, my Rift breeding sucked today. The Rift was set on Plant Trait, so I tried for Spore with Metal Rift X various rifty plant hybrids. Results: 2 non-riftys, a repeat Meadow[dark], and a Meadow[metal]. Only kept the last one, released the other three. Sigh. Bought a Gemstone Mystery Egg and got a twin Jade. Any gemstone is welcome, but I'd much rather have gotten one that pays out weekly or one I don't yet have. All in all, a subpar day in the Rift.
On a brighter note, I bred an Icebound in my regular cave. Yay! I really like him.

I gotta say, It's bittersweet seeing the old Light Rift and Dark Rift with their lovely, starry wings. I hate their new wings. Those beautiful, starry wings were their best feature, imho. The new wings look rushed and sloppy- especially the smeary, blob-like wings on Light Rift. Ugh. It would be so nice if they wore their old wings when placed in a Park habitat.

thanks everyone! And I agree, I had so hoped that we would at the very least have a form change, a la Dawnbringer and Lycan, where both light and dark rifts' wings would change based on a setting of the Twilight Tower. Maybe if enough of us emailed BFS... it would be nice to at least have the option to see the old wings. It's strange because they didn't really change the eggs, so they are still oddballs out. I thought for sure they were going to add the light symbol and dark symbol of the respective eggs and keep the starry background.

I have all the gemstone and crystalline dragons. I bought a Gem Egg Of Mystery and got a Wavelyte crystalline twin - which I needed. So next time I feel 'rich' in E I might buy another Gem Egg.
I just printed out magpac's excellent rift dragon matrix picture, and will start colouring in soon. Then I will finally know what dragons I have in the rift.

I have so many rift dragons now that I pedestal-ed one today. They look identical to normal pedestals. It would be great if the pedestals somehow indicated visually that they are from the rift.

I think the difference is the added "wavy" texture added to the eggs, but it's less clear on some egg designs than others. Which egg did you turn into a pedestal?

Watch pedestal. You are right. When I used a magnifying glass to examine a Rift watch and non-rift watch pedestal side-by-side, I could see that the small green patches actually swirled in a rifty way.

Some are okay (maybe unusual? I dunno) but some I really like. The odd-one-out is Magnetic which is for the disappointing pile... Feel free to repost any of them if you'd like!

I got a dodo but w a lightening trait sigh It’s really difficult now to clear and upgrade habitats. They need to provide more E or this will take legit forever. I can’t store new dragons bc I haven’t reached my storage tower lol Thanks layout 2
