Looking for help! My son and I started playing a couple months ago and are overwhelmed with this Rift! We've chosen a house but can't seem to find where our dragon that we got (hidden bolt) went? Is it a reward when the tournament is over? Or should the dragon be in our park somewhere? Or is he just 'unlocked' and we can earn/purchase him? Any guidance appreciated!

Can anyone tell me what the Gift from the Rift is? I've found countless eggs, stars and envelopes, but the message says to tap on it and see what happens...

I am waiting for someone else to do the number crunching. No one told me there would be math when I started this game 😒

Also I do not like the new.music (gasp) I think because it is the regular music but distorted. I do like the magic collection sound tho!!

I just did the numbers for only the new stuff, excluding pedestals. It's 35205 magic for the Omnitier, and 9990 for the Pentournal tier.

But assuming your house contributes enough magic to unlock the house rift, you can knock 4000 magic off the 35205 from the Omnitier.

The final present from the Pentournal Presentium hasn't been indicated, but I'm expecting you can claim one of the event dragons, so that's a further discount too.

This is a long haul event! I'd prioritise the limited tier rewards over the Omnitier ones. Slow and steady wins the race...

Look in your gifts menu! He might be there if he's not in the nursery. If it's really nowhere, I would send a message to Backflip support!

A word to lower level players - the airship says to feed your dragon before sending it. I took that (pretty stupid sometimes) to mean I should fill the treat boxes first, then select the dragon. Went to select the dragon and found I don't have that dragon yet. Nope, I don't want to buy it thanks. So now I have to wait until the timer runs down before I can contribute again in 10 hours. Grumble, grumble, wasted food!

The lesson from this? Check you have the dragon before you fill the treat boxes.

I've gotten it twice.  I got each individual reward for each crate (so because I filled all four, I got X magic*4) and then when it returned I got the reward upon return (which also happened to be the amount of magic for each crate times 4 or X magic*4).

So far just for new stuff only non of the old bring backs the rough total is 49115.

However there will be at least 2 more tiers. The visible Faire as yet to be active as well as the one after that. Which was visible in the Roar of the Rift Video. This also does not include other surprise Limited dragons.

😧 I'm hooped! Without being able to bank extra there is no way I can see to save enough without spending real cash. Especially with the current limited s only available for 14 days 😔😣😖😫

 Alright enough whinging and on with the fun.

BFS has combined the competition aspects of the original Rift event and last year's Pentournament, so I'm getting interesting flashbacks of the original Rift event, which started this whole event business for DragonVale! (I believe I started posting on this forum back then because of this event!) Except there was no cap back then. Oh the horror of bush-grinding! I had carpal tunnel for a short while.

Since it looks like the Faire is returning in 2 weeks, I'd be interested to see if there'll be more rift dragons coming through for the next phase of the event. It would be nice if BFS released all six remaining rifts by the end of August, but maybe they're saving those for future events? I wouldn't put it past them...

Overall amount that you can collect will be a bit higher as are bound to get some in the daily present as well as double day's...which should boost earnings.
Evening managing to coop breed one of the new dragons can significantly reduce amount that you need too! ( not that I am that successful at coop breeding)!

it's interesting because rift doesn't have its own flag or habitat yet, just combinations with other primary elements. And it seems the plant rift and fire rift aren't limited hybrids (yes limited in the prize market but they don't have an hourglass at the bottom of their blue border) while the house mascot rift dragons are limited hybrids... and the light rift and dark rift dragons are limiteds, and not showing up as options to buy if you wanted to use your wish on one right now. Usually they only do that for current event dragons...
I'm a bit worried, with the prices and tiers, that we may be getting the majority of prizes now and where we get to the "Faire" section in two weeks, there may not be many new prizes. Or maybe BFS has a lot up their sleeves. With plant rift and fire rift, I can't help but think we may see non-limited rift dragons for air, metal, lightning, water, cold, and earth at some point in the near future.

Your Hidden Bolt dragon and banner should both be in your gifts menu. When you collect the Hidden Bolt egg, it will appear in your nursery, and you can place the banner like any other decoration.

I think DV has got rid of the concept of 'banking' event currency, at least for this event. I've just reached my limit for today, but I can still collect magic, which will go towards earning a new dragon for Blazing Gale. I've not tested it (because I spectacularly manged to spin a one on the wheel of chance) but I suspect this means that any extra magic earned from minigames will go to your house, not your gifts menu. I suppose banking magic from gifts would still be possible, but it would require not collecting any of your gems until the event ended.

Also, I was wondering if we could have a poll to see who is in which house? It would be interesting to see which house was the most popular.

I maxed out my daily points before I'd collected from friends or played the Hoopla events. So I was able to rackup some points for Blazing Gale that way. I also have an uncollected Airship and Rift...waiting until today's reset to collect.

I'm looking at my strategy for the prizes...since the Pentournal prizes are time-limited, I'm wondering whether I should make those my first priority?

I have all the house dragons from last year's event so if any of my Game Center friends needs one of those, let me know and I can blue heart. I don't have Facebook.

Are we sure we "can't" bank? It does have the few days between end of even and also states extras become Dragon coin instead of food...

But that said, seeing as you can still collect towards your house, you can't collect daily gifts without taking the magic gift either, as, though YOU have maxed daily limit, you can collect beyond the 1000 per day

So in theory, could you not hold all that, daily gifts included? If you don't need the gems/food, could be worth a risk?

Yeah, you can still bank that way. It's confirmed that by doing that, we will be able to collect an additional 3000 during overtime.

However, anything banked beyond that 3000 is wasted effort, because it'll be converted to a worthless amount of DragonCash when the event ends.

So I have a light rift in a dark habitat and now it does not have the dark element...  I wonder if thats going to break things.
