Does anyone know how much magic we actually have to collect to earn a new dragon for our house? The progress bar doesn't seem to be going up at all for me.
I guess that new Ginormous Island's going to be housing a revamped egg grid if that's the case... I don't have anymore room for another element on the regular-sized island. And isn't THAT gonna be a hassle to move... I don't wanna think about it!
Oh! And also, how awesome would it be to have one of the new Rift Dragons as your forum avatar... and they actually do the cool moving rift thingy?!?! (I ask that knowing a grand total of zip about how that would actually work... but you heard it here first, forum members! )

After collecting my limit for the day, I visited friends and collected party hats. Being careful to collect all 3 each time, I then checked my house contribution. It did not change. So looks like if you collect party hats it should be done before you reach your limit and then do the other stuff to contribute to the house.
Also because i don't have anything else to do I am trying mountain Sun with my dark rift to see if it gets me the dragon mountain Sun peeps will get free after they fill up their progress bar. So here's hoping but not expecting lol
I'm also really hoping we.can at least use the double.exploit.... cuz that would be.helpful!!!
Not breedable? Can't you (per the elements) breed an Elder Fire with the Fire Rift (if anyone offers)?
I mean, for a Fire Rift, of course.
Reports on the FB groups on 100 attempts of Plant x Plant Rift giving 100 Plants..... And then they gave up.
So you can try, but don't hold your breath.
i haven't been able to get anything but light so far on light + light rift. at the moment, "rift" seems to be a category and not an element, as far as breeding goes, and light rift breeds like a primary light. just my 2cp, things may change at any time, caveat etc
Did I miss a post in this thread about breeding the new dragons? Can it be done? Or can you only get them from the event reward tent?
As far as I can tell, the new event dragons do not have a breeding hint, so they are not directly breedable. The new Rift category is NOT an epic... so that also means they are not epic cloneable. Kind of a pain, but at least it'll make the event less frenetic if we're not scrambling to breed or clone the new dragons instead of just buying them....
I have been breeding sandstorms but only get air dragons 🙁 Has anyone else noticed this?
I started playing during the first rift event so interesting to have them back and i love the new look.
I've been breeding sandstorms. I get sandstorm or earth dragons - enough of them (at least half, maybe more) are sandstorm that it's still worth the effort.
I'm not sure how useful this is for this event since there are no tiers, but if you want a quick way to add up how much magic you need, I updated my old tool w/ data for this event:
I know I have read it somewhere in this thread, or at least I THINK I have... is there a way to see the global progress for our house? I can see how much I contributed and where the progress bar is towards the glibal, but is there a place to see all of them?
It looks like Hidden Bolt and Mountain Sun are the most popular. They're the only two that are showing a sliver of green on their progress bars.

I'm guessing Android and iPhone users get different servers, since I'm still not seeing any progress for Blazing, but the other 4 houses have green slivers showing now (Bolt and Sun are still ahead by a fraction).
On a side note, this event has screwed me over. I got given a dang Tulip dragon egg but I have no Hidden habitat to pop it in when it hatches. 75 gems they want for that thing!

I see the progress if you click on each individual airship. There's a tab for each called "progress" with a bar above it.

Can anyone else get into their park? It's been pretty unstable since reset today, and now I can't get back in at all.
Males me wonder if there's a problem with the rift element not working right which they're trying to fix...
