No I didn't deliberately do any any of these setting.  😊Today my rift was set to Lightening and both the dragons I had bred before the event. 

Maybe trait overkill works....... or just coincidental 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lucky!!! All I got was doubles of dragons I all ready had with the repeat of trait as well.

Been trying for a rifted Bone all this time! Thinking how pesky Bones always were, showing up everywhere as Fails. Not anymore!

What I need to do, I guess, is try for something else and be ever so surprised when I get a Rifty Bone Fail.

Now, what shall I try for? Any suggestions?

Thank you. I will try it. I finally got a Bog yesterday...with no trait. 😒 I tried not to waste too much Etherium in hopes of using the rift to possibly breed the limited that might show up today.

Bone was one of the later ones I got, but I ended up getting it and a pedestal while going for Nosferatu. Maybe add Cold to the mix? 

Also if you have a twin and regular Bone, you will get the choice of a rift Bone on the last day of the Hall of Hallows.

Seems there's a new limited dragon available. I thought something like this would happen eventually, so I'm glad I saved my Candy. It's expensive though- nearly 7000 Candy. I hope I still have enough for Gargoyle, Omen, Spirit and Oni after I get it (I managed to breed Dracabra in the Co-op).

We have a 3-day doubles weekend, so that should help with getting the candy for the Nesting dragon! Elements are plant, fire, earth and cold. Wonder whether there are certain dragons involved, or whether it's just the elements?

I also managed to breed the Dracabra in the Co-Op -- I think I should be able to get the limited Nesting Dragon as well as the Spirit (I already have every other Spooky dragon). Though I guess I'll try to breed for the Nesting this weekend, too.

I went ahead and used Candies to get the Nesting and am sharing it now.
(I don’t do Facebook, GCID friends only)

I leveled mine to 20 for increased luck. Breed time is 24 hours and I will go through my 200+ friends list and breed with anyone who shares an Elder Fire, Plant, Earth, or Cold in the hopes of helping those with fewer friends/Candy gifts get one without depleting their Candy stash.

The breeding hint for the Nesting dragon just says plant, cold, fire, and earth - nothing specific needed. I assume that means we can breed it straight up in our regular caves, rather than having to get it via co-op. I'd almost forgotten what that's like!

And we can even breed it in the rift. That's pretty good.

Is it just me or was what we thought was a baby Oni dragon on the splash screen actually a Nestling? The colours look off but it's under orange light from the fire. I was wondering where the baby Oni's tail was. How appropriate for a cryptid themed event, it was hiding in plain sight all along!

It is the nesting dragon. The ONI dragon is full grown in the splash screen hidden behind the tree to the left oh the fire. You can see his eye and then make out his teeth and his horns curl up into the leaves .😁

I bred Nesting with my Ambrosia and someone’s Nesting in the Coop Breeding.
