I bred Nesting with my Ambrosia and someone’s Nesting in the Coop Breeding.
Thank you, Ambrosia also worked perfect for me! Got Nesting with noodles' Nesting in Coop, unfortunately not a Twin, but I'll work on it. My Nesting is already in Coop.

Whoa Nesting first try in the Rift! Love those insta breeds, too! Also finally got a traited Decay after lots of non-Rifty fails. Still no Nosferatu... someone on Reddit said that the Eerie theme should now be considered a night theme, but can anyone confirm breeding Nosferatu with it set to Eerie? I may need to change the theme again...

I went ahead and used Candies to get the Nesting and am sharing it now. (I don’t do Facebook, GCID friends only)
I leveled mine to 20 for increased luck. Breed time is 24 hours and I will go through my 200+ friends list and breed with anyone who shares an Elder Fire, Plant, Earth, or Cold in the hopes of helping those with fewer friends/Candy gifts get one without depleting their Candy stash.
Ooh! I’m pretty sure we’re friends, and I have my Elder Cold in the co-op, trying for a Spirit. I’ve been unsuccessful in breeding any of the new dragons yet, and I’m doubting I’ll have enough candy to buy them all. I wasn’t able to DV during last year’s Halloween event, and I have soooo many dragons to catch up on. If you feel so inclined, please feel free to breed with my Elder Cold. I’d love a twin Nesting!

🤔 For the Nesting dragon my daughter thought 'Nesting Dolls' because when the big one opens its mouth the 2 little ones jump in. Only thing is they have it in the wrong order both ways. Jumping in the smallest goes first and when they come back out the smallest is first.

With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.
I don't want to become into a decaying Lycan yet. But I'm still whining about no Rift Lycan! And I failed to breed Nesting today as well!
Are you using Lichen and Lightning? That worked for me. But not until I tried during my actual night as well as having the park set to Night.

Honestly I was using Ortreat and Storm because I was trying for Rift Lycan, Nosferatu, and Nesting at the same time bad idea, but yeah I don't know why am I thinking.

Progress so far - didn't realise Nesting was breedable regret spending the candy. Have Nesting and Spirit
Been trying for Dracabra no luck so far. Need to get Oni and Gargoyle also (unsure if will have enough by end of event for these and 2 halloween habitats)
Rift dragons managed: Bone: Fire Decay: Fire Garden: Fire Ghost: Earth and Fire Lycan: Light Nosferatu: Fire Ortreat: Earth and Lightning Spectre: Fire, Water, Earth Trick: Fire
I bred a non-traited Nesting in the Rift with bluefire and moss. Does anyone know if you can get a traited Nesting in the rift?
Nesting, along with the 4 newest spooky event dragons, and Nether (and epics) do not have Rift traits available at this time. My guess is that BFS wants to give us time to get the dragon itself first, then allow for Rift traits later, as a way of keeping them "fresh"; similarly to how we had to get golden hybrids, then twins of dragons/elements that we have bred before.
Also, some great combo ideas for Nesting (in case anyone needs suggestions) are: Trick/Ortreat + Elder/Rift Cold Decay/Nosferatu + Elder/Rift Plant Thicket + Elder/Rift Fire Paper/Wyrmwood/Ambrosia + any Elder of the four elements
I really recommend Elders, as they can add better breeding odds, but watch out for the Decay fail, which has the same time as Nesting. It got me, and I was really disappointed - thinking I had bred Nesting. 😔 The rifts are good in case you are trying to double up on getting Rift versions of some spooky dragons you are missing, and the instant breed/hatch time is a great bonus.
-But I have a question. My Kairos power is ready to use, so I was thinking of utilizing it for more chances at getting Nesting. But it's doubles weekend... BFS killed the exploit last doubles weekend. Do you think they will again this time? Would it be worth saving it just in case, or should I use it now to try to get Nesting while I have the chance?

I got my rift Nosferatu (albeit it was at 3 am my time) but my Twilight Tower was set to Nightfall. Then I bred my rift Decay and Cold Rift with the same setting, but it was during the afternoon, and I got a second rift Nosferatu.

Well, this event isn't as much of a success as I hoped it would be. I missed out on several days because of real life stuff, and by the time I got back to playing it said I needed to spend 222 gems to catch up on the daily event gifts. Yeah, I think I'll save my gems and pass on that offer.
Also, I want to apologize to my gem buddies for not sending gems as often as I normally do. See, I have internet at home, but it's not always reliable because I live so far out of town. I usually walk to the visitor center during events because their internet is better, but I sprained my ankle so I'll be laid up for a couple weeks while I recover.
The good news is that I have enough event currency for either Spirit or Dracabra and some new decorations. I don't have enough for both so I have to choose one. And I have been taking screenshots like I said I would, so once I get done going through what's become my DV photo gallery, I'll pick some out and post them.

OMG finally got my Rift Nosferatu with Fire (Level 16) and Mountain (Level 11) after a gazillion tries. Don`t think the alignment matters but it was cold. (And my Mountain was Metal).
Now I just need Rift Garden, Ortreat and Ghost. I thought those were the easy ones, apparently not for me.
Dear God now I just got a Ghost rift from the same equation, Fire (Level 16) and a Mountain (Metal Trait Level 11) Probably sounds like I am lying because I haven´t said anything here for so long, I am not always much for talking but I thought I couldn´t go on without sharing this with you guys. This breeding pair hasn´t worked very well for me, have been trying on and off the whole event, but finally it really paid off.

I don't often get annoyed with this game, but getting a non-traited Nosfetatu just now is one of those rare times.
If it's any comfort to you: exactly the same happend to me on my second account today. At least, this account still needed a standard Nosferatu Pedestal. Also still no sign of Rift Nosferatu on my main account. Only bred three of them accidentally in standard breeding cave, untraited and also unwanted of course.

I can relate to trekking to find wifi for my DV addiction! Hope your ankle gets better soon.

FINALLY got a Nesting. I feared the another last 19:11 timer form Elder Fire and Paper is another Decay Fail. Seriously I got 10 of those trying for Nesting. Now I shall shove it in the hibernation cave because I just don't like it and willing to KILL IT WITH FIRE.

I know exactly how you feel, but for me it was a non-traited Lycan. I went from yaughhhhhhhhhh! I don't often get annoyed with this game, but getting a non-traited Nosfetatu just now is one of those rare times.
