The rift is super useful for maxing out. Collecting from rift habitats seems to be a guaranteed +2 candy if the symbol is showing, which means I can collect 80 candy every hour.
Also, every dragon you hatch in the rift gives magic candy.

Just a reminder to us all: don't collect from your gem friends until AFTER you've reached your daily candy max, allowing you to bank the gift candy for use later....😉 Heehee love the spookies coming out of the background clouds...

So do we know yet if any of the new.dragons have locked combos? Or any combo of elements should do it?
The newest four dragons are not breedable and can only be purchased with Candies.
EDIT: Your first of the newest four dragons can only be purchased with Candies. Duplicates/pedestals can them be cloned in the Co-Op. (Thank you, Mr. Bones ! Love your new moniker!)
I'm so buying two giant earth habitats filling it up with gargoyles. The first one shall be named Goliath!!!! Oh yes, yes he will. And the rest shall be named Bronx, Lexington, Brooklyn, Hudson, Broadway, Elisa, Demona, Angela, and Xanathos!!!

I thought rare/blue dragons can't be cloned, whether in the co-op or in regular breeding areas...
And when you say cloned, do you mean it works if you are sharing the dragon you want to clone? What about the other way around? If they're sharing, can you clone it from co-op breeding with them? I thought only epics/purples could be cloned, period!

I love it! I love all of it and there's so many things I want it's hard to figure out where to start.
Lucky for me I collected the majority of spooky dragons last year, so three of the prize tiers are already unlocked. And this time I actually want Ghost dragons so I can use the pedestals for decorations on my gargantuan island. Haha, watch me get none now that I actually want those little ghosties this time.

Dude, where have you been this past year? It's been possible to clone any dragon for a while now. Rift dragons being a notable exception outside of the rift.
Just pair any of the new dragons with anything else and prepare for disappointment, because the odds of success are so low that you might not even clone a single one during the entire event.

Got to get super busy to get all the rift trait combos for all the spooky limited dragons in time.. but then maybe just get the rift dragon and egg and use tower to unlock at later date, when the E is flooding in. Seems like they have set us an unending task
