Finally was able to breed Rift Nosferatu today - at least in my main park. Also got a Rift Nosferatu Pedestal today. Now I'm only missing Rift (Or)Treat Pedestal. Don't remember which one right now.
This Event went pretty well for me. I was able to breed Dracabra and Gargoyle in Coop, bred Nesting in Coop and received a Twin of it later.
Haven't chosen my present yet, I don't have Twins of all Spookies, so I'm not quite shure which Rifted Twin Spooky to choose. Maybe Spectre, I keep getting Spectre all the time, but I really like that dragon, so a Rifted Twin would be nice.
Did anybody realize how far we are again with the progress bar for another Community Gift? Maybe BFS has lowered the amount of Candy and wants to give us a second gift dragon?
Can't believe I didn't think to try for Zombie in the Rift. Tried it today and got him on the second 1500 breed.🎉 I wonder if we will be able to breed Gemstones and Crystallines up there? I think Topaz is up next, and Cactus and Firefly are both riftys. (too bad Lodestone isn't- instahatching all those looong fails for Sanguinite would be awesome)
With the elusive Zombie traveling through the Rift portal to my Park, and a plan to purchase Oni tomorrow after collecting some banked candy, the only spooky I didn't acquire is Gargoyle. Not bad, not bad at all.

Yes, breeding Gemstones and Crystallines in the Rift is possible, as far as the locked combo only contains Rift Hybrids.

So like Winnifred Sanderson I felt the the icy breath of doom upon my neck and decided that the dragon gods were mad at me since the only dragon I have been able to breed was a nesting. *sigh* I bought the rest of the dragons and all the new stuff plus the nightmare pedestal because that is just a nightmare to get. I now have over 2,000 candies plus what we will collect through the end of the event. Should I buy the new dragon pedestals or try my luck at the spooky mystery egg??

I just discovered something interesting. If you already have an egg, a normal one or a twin one and have a rift dragon of that very dragon, going into the dragonarium, pedestal section andinto a dragon s file you will see the mention "trait" , click on that and it will automatically add the trait to your egg. NO need for getting a new egg just for the trait!

This will show you a picture in the dragonarium of the egg with the trait. It doesn't actually change your existing egg, so if you're collecting rift eggs you will still need to breed it. On the dragons, you can click the trait button and cycle through the traits you own on a dragon to see the different looks. That same preview would be useful in the rift tower, so you can preview something before unlocking.

right, as Quil has stated, you need to have the rift pedestal already to be able to view it in the dragonarium.
It would be nice to be able to change pedestals though... non twin <--> twin <---> rift

you will get a separate dragon, and both spectres will be able to have either (not both) rift trait applied to them with the Transfiguration Tower.
Well, today I finally finished getting 2 of every spooky rift dragon plus a rift pedestal for all the spooky dragons as well. And I also recently bred Lacuna, so I just need Zaffer and Viridian of the rift uniques. Then to finish the rift pedestals. I hope I get enough progress done before the Rift-ified Frostival!!
All of my choices are traited except for Nosferatu of course...
I am about to waste my entire whining on Rift Nosferatu and after that's over, I will choose Rift Bog.
If all that fails, I will feast on Spooky Mystery Eggs until a Twin Nosferatu is picked and then I'll pick on traited Nosferatu and tr my last minute on Bog. If all that fails, also fails, then I have no choice but to spend on the rare Mystery Egg and the rift market, and flaillessy hope for either these two someday...

If all that fails, number 1 was a success. After traited twin fails from the mystery egg. I have gotten the twin Nosferatu from my latest Mystery Egg. Because of that, I finally earned my choice for Rift Nosferatu as my 20 day prize. I chose the Dark Trait, because fits perfectly. Now I'll chase my final Halloween Spirit endeavor for the Rift Bog.

Nice! You've had a lot better luck than I, I've been going to the 10k breed every day of the event and I'm still short 4 eggs and a second copy of 4 of the dragons. We have until the 4th, so hoping the next few days gets me closer. Otherwise I guess I'll be trying to clone them after the event ends, and hope it works.

Just FYI, doing like+like breeding with Rift spookies (Bog, Ghost, Lycan, Nosferatu, Ortreat) got me thirds of these (for pedestals) in 1.5 days worth of breeding attempts (up to and including 5000 E). So the success rate is good (at the moment).
Once I have caught up with the Viridian and other locked combo rifties (don't hold your breath!), I will try like+like with them and report back to you.

I can't really complain, because I have managed to get most of the old spooky dragons in rift form, and some of their pedestals as well, but although I've had the twilight tower set to Nightfall for the whole time, I haven't managed to breed a rift lycan! Regular lycans...yes, but I didn't need any of the regular forms or pedestals of spookies (aside from twins, which I never used to collect because I hated the blue orb above their heads and the blue outline of their pedestals, haha!) As it says in the information about the Candy Bash that it runs through the 2nd, are there only two hours of time left to try for rift spookies, or do we have the final two days after this while the market is open to breed for them as well?

I kept the news box that said this, so can confirm that the Rift Spookies are available to breed through the 4th.
Edit: The "through" also implies that it includes the reset starting on that day, so 3 days left to breed these from the reset that occurred just after I originally posted this.

You should get a second whole dragon with the second trait. However, both dragons will be able to switch between traits with the help of the transfiguration tower.
