I did breed Sleighbell in the rift but after numerous long fails and wasted gems I bought Starshine also. Not sure I even like it. Hope we don't get any more surprises.
I also managed Sleighbell in the rift, thankfully, but while trying for Starshine in two dens, I have gotten
{A Tedious Expandable List Of}two Dazzlings, six Twinkles, three Double Leap Years, three Solar Eclipses, two Lunar Eclipses, six Auroras, three Double Rainbows, three Delights, a Melancholy, a Winter, and a couple Rainbows, Leap Years, and numerous snowy Olympus
fails. The combined fail times of those and all the non-epic ones... Didn't need any of those dragons, though, to be fair, I did swap out some regular Rainbows for the higher-earning ones, but I'm still sans Starshine...Oh, well, not to worry, I still have 21 gems! This battle isn't over yet! There are, erm, just two more Dazzlings cooking up in both dens at the moment, so the battle is...ahem...on hold...
I was half expecting to see "and a partridge in a pear tree" in that list! Sorry you haven't had koala with starshine, but do keep in mind it and all the others will still be able to be cloned via the CBC if a friend shares theirs for you to breed with. And I'm sure it will still be an outcome of the eggceptional mystery eggs that are still available to purchase, it you wanted a bit better odds (don't tell, but that's how I got mine!) Hopefully you will have better luck in the new year.
Know we have discussed this before but i cannot find the thread ... What 3-4 dragons are our top money producers? Trying to decide if i want to keep or delete a twinkle that is almost ready to hatch... With space in the hibernation cave down to almost zero & habitat limits etc i am becoming more careful what i keep ... Thanks for any advice/tips or possibly direct me to where we discussed this before ?
Just saw this. This is my list. I find feeding to 19 is better than 20. Can level twice as many dragons and give a better dragoncash return than half as many at 20.
Ps might be missing a few of the new ones in this list
Remember pure earning rates are NOT what matters. The habitat dragon/cash limit is. 5 elysium in a giant Olympic habitat make 2975/min with a 2m cap. 4 portent in a dream habitat make 3164/min with a 1.5m cap. 5 twinkle in an ornamental habitat make 4960/min but habitat limits you to 1M and you only get 3 habitats. The improved omnitat gives a habitat limit of 2.65m with only four being available. The poor neglected large rainbow habitat only holds TWO (shameful) rainbows at 1982/min with a 1.5m cap. It all comes down to your play style and how often you collect which one is better.

Just double checking to make sure I'm not missing one -- there's only 3 ornamental habitats that can hold 5 dragons max right? So there's no way to display all the ornamental dragons adult and baby in only the ornamental habitats? Is there a normal one to be unlocked in the market place?

Haha, thanks, very kind, and all good points! I wish you and everyone else hordes of koalas in the new year, also.
New limited dragon: Jingle dragon. Fire, earth, plant and cold. Anyone know if it takes a particular dragon like Sleighbell did, or just any 2 dragons with those elements?
So after trying in the rift with no result, i bought the Jingle dragon and put it in the coop where NOodles Cat hat put hers. YEhhhh first try was a success and got a second on the third try. Case closed lol Koala to all of you
Ps thanks Noodles Cat and sorry none was a twin.

I set myself a 2000 gems limit to breed Jingle. Succeeded after spending 1996 gems (numerous Aura and Rainbows) Can't decide if I should call myself lucky or unlucky...
This is unfair. Three limited dragons in such short span of time, with such high purchase price! Is this a way to promote the new egg deals? I don't like the direction BFS is taking. And now I'm SO dreaded they will release a "Bell" limited dragon soon...

I agree! The cost of the pedestals have more than doubled for this event and it’s impossible to obtain all new dragons without spending money. I’ve only been able to breed one in the rift. It’s more unfortunate for new players who don’t have all of the older dragons. I feel everyone’s pain:)

here's my earners list, which shows the dragons' earning rare at level 20 (without boosts for the elemental dragons)

OMGosh! So much to consider! THIS is why i need you guys! Thanks!
There's a special going on, it may be only for Amazon users I'm not sure. It's a triple berry purchase in the dragon market, 330 berries for .99. Not spectacular, but if you only need a few more for something you want, thought it might be worth looking into.
Every day is a good day to feed dragons. Prisca#4020
So I came up with a few breeding combos that can help to double up if you are trying to get some rift versions of the limited hybrids while trying to breed jingle (the combos also work in the non rift breeding spots, in case you need the non rift versions too) :
All four of these also have these outcomes (among others) : Bone, reindeer, garden, paper, coal, gift, regift, trinket, spectre, oni, trick, ortreat, motley, decay, nosferatu (at night), thicket, ghost, wyrmwood, and nesting. As you can see, there are a lot of fails thanks to BEB, but pepper doesn't add any additional elements while still adding carnival to the outcomes. koala!

My feedback on the exceptional eggs. Bought twice 1st when event started and had Krampus. 1st purchase super home run ! Candlecrown,Woolen,Kringle The only 3 I needed 2nd purchase when the 2 latest showed up Neoteric Twin,Cold traited twin Glacier,Dark traited twin Wind While technically I did need all of those minor disappointment. So overall it does look like a good deal but can be disappointing.
So all I needed was Jingle (had to buy starshine with berries after blowing over 1000 gems and missing)
Bought 10x exceptional egg results
twin gold (already had twin and twin pedestal)
earth trait twin salamander
metal trait twin Ivy
twin Bouquet (needed)
light trait twin frostfire
Snowflake 1 twin (only needed the pedestal)
plant trait twin steam
twin winter (only needed pedestal)
monolith 1 twin (needed)
fire trait twin lichen
Meh ..... and now 3 caves (rift, island, cave) going for jingle and no koala

I was using Mistletoe and Firefly for a chance of Cotton and Garland. Maybe I should switch to your combos.
Just got Traited Mountain Sun just now.
Oh and I got Dark Traited Arid from the community Mystery Egg Gift. Could be worse.

A question for those of you who keep 2 of each dragon. Do you sell one if you get a third in the rift? It would certainly free up alot of space in my hibernation cave. Thanks for your thoughts.
Got a Honeyglow from my community Egg of Mystery. I hope everyone got something good!
I got a Cerberus, which I didn’t have, and have been trying to breed the entire BEB!
GCID- peanutzmom:) And yes, you need to include the smiley face
I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
