Ok I need to make a whine for Jingle...been trying in the rift and all three caves in the regular vale... with nothing good to show for it. Ugh!
BEHOLD the power of the whine... I got Jingle first breed of the day in the rift today. And as a bonus I also got Neoteric (Dark). This morning I also blessed a family game with a twin Party dragon that needed one. A very good day in the vale for me. 🐉💕
Lesson learned...will whine sooner next time. Haha!
Today's present from the Glacial Giftery is the Frosty Filigree. Since I already had one, I'm getting the message "We're sorry! You have reached the current limit for the Frosty Filigree." Can't collect it, can't sell it, so pretty much a non-gift.
That is not the worst of it. For the rest of the Event we will be badgered by a pop up box every time we log in telling us BFS gave us a gift and to collect it. Somebody at BFS goofed.
Which reminds me... anyone else bothered by the fact that you get the same ‘BFS gave you a gift’ message when you have paid for Eggceptional Eggs? They are not a gift if you paid for them!

So, my internet went kaput on Friday evening just before reset...nobody can figure out why it doesn't work (aside from supernatural tampering most heinous), and my mobile is SIM locked, so no data plan as I'm out of its country of issuance. My neighbour is kindly letting me use his wifi for the time being, but I missed two days of the event, argh! I am agonising over 2000 missed beans (I can't remember what it's actually called, and I've been calling event currency 'beans' since the dawn of time...not sure why). On the plus side, I've come back to the Vale and discovered I haven't missed the fiesta. Hopefully it'll be less elusive for us than some of the other dragons during this event!

Thank you, haha, I think I'll live despite the harrowing experience, and I...must admit I hadn't even considered an internet cafe, but I see no reason why that wouldn't have worked... The patchy public transport from my secluded country village into the not-so-near nearest city might've just been worth it, for those 2K beans! Oh well, live and learn. Back in the day we were "bean counters" during all the events, trying to keep track of what we had to do to max out, before BFS added the handy widget that keeps track of it for us. (for those unfamiliar with the slang, a bean counter is an accountant)
No Party in my park... its not an avatar choice either (sometimes changing my avatar gives my dragons the right idea). I just sped up an (expensive!) Silver dragon breed to try again, and got... another Silver. Ugh. In another breeding site I hoped Carnival and Woolen would make a seasonally appropriate Party, but no go. Trying what others have reported success with in the Rift, and those fails have been really boring. At least the countdown timer to extinction isn't ticking yet... but I have a feeling it will start soon...
I have been so unsuccessful with breeding ANYTHING , they I had given up and was treating this like a collecting of berries only. To try and buy a few things. Most unsuccessful event EVER for me. Bought the event dragons I have and then risked 2 more time on ridiculous results of hohum dragons 😝😝😝.
I have only been able to breed Sleighbell even though I have tried the entire event for the others in coop and what seems like about a thousand attempts for Jingle. I haven't even cloned any of the ones I bought for pedestals. Sigh... Out of four family games only a total of three dragons have been cloned/bred... 😟 Thank goodness I have collected the max daily. I will be able to buy all the dragons, but no pedestals or upgrades to the omnitats. And an unfortunate mishap with my social berries and my main source went poof when I collected the gems and BFS says they will not credit me back even though there was a glitch with the game. I'm still happy with what I will be able to get, but it is more fun when you can breed two or three of the dragons and be able to afford some fun stuff with your extra currency.
😲 Just realized how disconnected from this event I am when I haven’t been in the forums for 2 days!!!😱😱😱 Not even lurking 😲
I’m not even breeding in the rift at all been trying for so long for a mistletoe. nada and am to OCD to be able to change😯. No success breeding anything Nada! Just realized how easy it would be to get bored and move on to another game. I now have way more sympathy for others who have been in this boat. I have never had so little success with breeding.
BF please just one or 2 sought after dragons 😢😢😢
On the upside I am building a good E currency hoard. Or would be 😂 Except I keep throwing caution to,the wind and saying to myself surely by a 10,000 E breed I’ll find 1 mistletoe......Nope 😒
With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.

Don't do those 10k breeds. You're better off buying a couple of rare mystery eggs. I've had no luck with a rift mistletoe, and all my failures are pretty much repeats, but I've been getting so many of the new rift event dragons from the mystery egg that it makes up for all the failures. Just picked up a rift bearded and house dragon today.

Me, too. I’d like to have a second one for my second Christmas Island
So I went ahead and dropped customer service a note. They informed me that they would be increasing the limit on this decoration soon, and they also added 10 gems to my account for the inconvenience. Not bad!
