I just visited a neighbor who always has multiples of the event dragons as soon as they come out and noticed this:
That level 20 Krampus is really blurry. The Candlecrown looks fine, though. They also have a couple level 20 Kringles that are blurry, but not quite as bad as the Krampus. I'm wondering at which level they go "bad?" If the level 11 or level 16 Krampuses (Krampi?) blurry, too? I hope not. He's the only new dragon I really want- but not if he looks like Fudge. Maybe they only appear this way to visitors?
Addition 1: I watched the Krampus and Kringles move around the habitats for a few minutes and they never cleared up, no matter their positioning.
Addition 2: I went back a few hours later to check if it was just random weirdness. Nope. Still blurry. Took a snap of the Kringles while I was there. They are blurrier than I originally thought:
I am only familiar with IOS on an Apple device and to update your game in IOS you go to the App Store, select ‘Updates’ option which for me is at the bottom right of the screen. Then in updates you would see all the apps with updates available.
I am assuming android has a similar type of option using their Google play or whatever they call their App Store.
Hope that helps. If not let us know what type of device you are using and I am sure one of our members will be familiar with the update procedure.
😊
With the demise of game centre I just started in FB to be able to friend people from this forum and join in on the fun. Please message me if you want to send a friend request so I know to watch for you😊, I never check FB otherwise. I'm deleting random requests way too many of those 😮.

No worries! I knew better than to try to update things last night and discovered that I had misnamed things so I fixed them this morning. ☕️☕️☕️
Which reminds me: ATTENTION all Community Members: If while perusing the OP for this event you discover an error in our posted information, do not be afraid to let us know. Also if you think something would be helpful to be added, speak up! And if anyone wants to put together a handy-dandy list of Rifts with the best breeding pairs that are only available through the event and BEB, we will gladly put it in the Rifty post in the OP.
Not sure if this happened to anyone else yesterday, but I was able to find Lumi twice. I had found Lumi the first time I logged in for the day, then around 8-9pm (maybe, don't remember really, I've slept since then ) I saw that my box indicating flag bearers/event tappers was frosted over again and was able to find Lumi again for another gift of berries and a gem.

When selecting dragons for the event arena, are we supposed to choose one that (ideally) has all four of the listed types? Or, are the two types shown on the left for me and the two types on the right for my friend? That is what I always thought, but am not sure after seeing some comments about the arena during the last event.
The way the types are listed, I would think a hybrid Light and Earth dragon would be the best choice for me and a Dark and Fire hybrid would be the best pick for my opponent? There are always four types shown for every match-up. Lower and mid level players probably don't have many 4-typed dragons, and it seems likely that lots of those players would be unaware of how epics (Aura or Galaxy or whatever) break down into 'lesser' colors/types?
When I am in a hurry, I just toss a Rainbow or Leap Year in there. They don't get better results than when I carefully choose a color-specific dragon (either two or all four types). Actually, the arena result seem pretty random, tbh. I've won the 100 points and a gift for my friend with dragons of the 'wrong' colors more than once. I've also gotten the lowest prize (25 points, I think it is?) when my dragon has all four of the colors and the opponent has the wrong colors. What gives, man?
Any thoughts, opinions, ideas about this?

Yep, I found her twice yesterday, too. Haven't found her yet today, though, and have looked for several minutes every time I've gone in my game. I hope they didn't make her go away due to a glitch, like what happened with Noel dePlant when he kept reappearing (at the beginning of the Roar of the Rift, maybe it was? I can't remember which event that happened in).

althea, you ideally just have to complete the elements. If you have three and a partner has 3, then the overlap is to your benefit. But if the partner has 3 and you throw in a one-element Elder, it's about the same. Ideally, pick the highest-level partner dragon.

I allways pick up two elements for each side, however the elements are not necessary taken from one single side, i mix up quite often until i find 2 dragons having a total of the four elements. I allways get the max of berries or whatever the currency of the event happens to be.
Hold on... we are working together with our friend as a team to win, and not battling (or whatever it is the dragons are doing) against each other? That would make a HUGE difference! I thought it was like a head-to-head match-up? "Two dragons walk in, only one walks out."

Ummmm no. You are competing with a friend. That's why when when we win the max points do they also win points as well.

I thought that was to promote good sportsmanship. 😂

Yes, it's cooperative.
Similar to cooperative breeding, you can team up with friends’ dragons to compete in challenges and win Iceberries!
