I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed! It's definitely a shame.

Um, my baby park doesn't have diamonds in the drop event.  I won on my main park, but don't remember ever seeing them disappearing from baby parks.

I hope its just a bug, because if some accountant thinks that is going to make people buy diamonds they are wrong.

In my park it seems to be doubles day? But there's no announcement; I'm at 1462 for the day... Unless there's a glitch and yesterday's total wasn't cleared, I'm not good at noticing numbers

I didn't get an announcement via a splash screen, but there is a posting in the "News" section.

This event has seemed more glitchy than most (at least for me!). It even briefly vanished at one point yesterday. Today seems to be going better for my park...

The News notice in my parks says:
"Double Roses
Now Earning Double Roses

Well, NoodlesCat has a twin Scorn egg in the nursery, thus it's possible to clone those new dragons. Now i do not know if this was the result of a like+like or a mix.

Just to add to tips: In past events I've always got max in event arena when using two L19 or preferably 20dragons with the 4 elements covered between them: so it pays to keep a high level multi element dragon in your coop cave or 💙 if you want to earn roses from your dragon being used by friends in the event arena.

Yah I know, but usually double rainbow-ing it gets me the best or second best result every time and it's not anymore.  Just got a 20 result.  My rainbow's only level 15, but that's never been a problem before.  Something changed.

I was able to get Smitten with an Elder Plant with a friend's co-op Smitten. Took several tries. 😳😂

Wierd... today (Feb 2) is the first day that the Gathering of Roses has shown up for me at all. I’ve done all the updates and as of this morning, nada other than it was coming soon. I logged back into the game this evening and found that I was a day behind (had to gem a daily gift to “catch up”).

only if a friend of yours shares theirs and you breed with it in the CBC. Otherwise you need to buy them with event currency.
Virtually all event dragons work this way, the most notable exceptions that come to mind were the Roar of the Rift dragons - they need to be bred/bought in the rift with E3M at this time.

I bred a Sweetheart in coop using My Elder Plant and someone's Sweetheart. First go, too : so that's my store of koala used up for 2018!

Plant x Scorn gave me poison and a 13.58 timer so far, so more 'fails' than are listed to date in sandbox, just feedback, not criticism 😊

I bred a Sweetheart  in coop with my Delight and someone's Sweetheart.  Every time I see "coop" (since I'm too lazy to type (co-op), I think chicken coop. Hmm wonder if dragons taste like chicken

Cloning is possible. I co-op bred my Serenity with a friends Scorn and got a Scorn.

I bred my Scorn with a friends (different) Smitten and got a Smitten (and 2 other Scorns)

Scorn's hidden elements, according to the breeding hints tab, are: Plant, Earth, & Fire. These 3 elements, along with Cold, seem to be dominant in all the Aura dragons except those with locked combos.

1000 Roses daily except on Double Weekends then max of 2000. Playing the games goes toward the daily max total. Any and all Roses collected also go into a Community Pool.
