Word for the wise: If you are noticing that you are not finding ANY eggs, zoom in. IT is entirely possible to be seeing people and collecting from habitats but not be close enough to see the easter eggs
I find that using the Nightfall setting (or any dark/night settings) and searching in Edit Paths mode while being zoomed in as close as possible to be the easiest way to find eggs. The bright color of the eggs really pops out at you this way. It does take about ten good minutes to look at every bit of ground in the entire Park, but it's so satisfying when the green border disappears. Makes locating the banner bearers easier, too.

It is then much easier to clone a pedestal in the Co-Op and also get a twin and twin pedestal. The sooner in the event you do this, the more rewarding it seems to be. After all, you have to spend your event currency on something. Don’t save it all to the very end and you may find you enjoy the events more.

I like to do this. Make a list and start buying dragons as soon as the first limited expires. Go ahead and try for twins/clones but don't worry about trying to get any for "free"
If only I could feel that way about the new rift dragons coming out, way too much pressure for such a limited time. Must remember they will be back during BEB

Took guidance from 'the Boss' and bought Cocoa, didn't care much for the baby form, but Am pleasantly surprised at liking the adult form of the dragon; turns into a lovely hare 😊

Seems like I am having a hard time collecting my daily 1000 eggs this event. I got to looking around to see if I was forgetting to do something and realized the Quests with friends are not there this time. I guess another sign that we were collecting too many eggs in our social menu. I also used to get eggs from every earth habitat that had the chest overflowing with coins, but no more - so another way we are collecting fewer eggs. The amount of eggs from quests by Karios and Gaia also decreased. However, I believe that the amount of eggs for hatching may have increased or it might just be the type of eggs I'm hatching.
I am enjoying lurking on the forums during my retirement. Cumberpatch is an excellent dragon name!
You know you don`t actually have to quit lurking although you don`t play anymore. Being a professional lurker myself, I am quite sure this is accepted around here.

Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

Waiting on BFS response to that jadeitedraggyv it doesn't just log us out, it ( I think) robs us of rewards too; but I've not been onto it enough to note no of gems etc prior to doing the auto post thing... ill post the BFS response when it arrives

I haven't had any luck yet. Tried in the Rift (up to the 5000E attempts), the Coop, and the the regular breeding cave today. But, tomorrow is a new day.

I tried for the hooded in the rift, but failed. Managed to co-op one using my elder plant just now. I'm wondering if I should attempt to get a rift version of it tomorrow, or work on the sun/moon rift limited dragons. I'm guessing the hooded will be around longer than the sun/moon ones.

The amount of eggs we're getting from breeding is actually huge - I've noticed that we get 50 for any hybrid, and at least 80 for an epic (I could have sworn I saw the amount go up by 180 during the last doubles weekend when I sold an epic in the rift, but I've at least been able to confirm an epic worth 80 during regular days). I haven't done a detailed accounting of what each type is worth, but I have two small parks which only have two islands of habitats each, and they're having an unusually easy time maxing out this event due to the weight on breeding. Tip, though: if you're working on something as limited as Clover in the rift, your breedings will be relatively low-value, so try to include a more expensive element in the mix.
(Oddly, I've noticed that "rift uniques," like Spore and Tumblethorn, are only worth 15 eggs even though they're all worth 1.25 million cash.)

We are only 4 days in and the flying eggs are already driving me batty!
I naturally work from the right side of the screen to the left while collecting, so am having to retrain myself to start on the left and work right. Otherwise, I can't see a darn thing (esp. wandering banner bearers and the hidden eggs) because of all the points-eggs flying across the screen. It's a bit much. A quick, little egg explosion after the tap would suffice. A first world problem, for sure- but annoying, nonetheless.
althea it was the rainbows for me, literally made me dizzy. I spent my remaining wish in my 2nd park on the weather station so I could turn them off. Fortunately I already had it in my main park.
I didn't realize the weather station could do that! I'm going to keep that in mind for a wish!
