vonfirmath Deepest apologies for the >9000 twins I have sent hurtling in your general direction in my failed attempts to clone a Starlight off of the one you kindly have up for those on your list! I used Kairos three times and around six hundred gems, and I am most sincerely repentant for having exposed you to my bad luck! On the plus side, I did manage to get a Misfortune off of you at an earlier time, though, and just couldn't remember who on the forum you were. But, now that I've recalled, thank you for that!
I ended up buying my second Meridiem habitat, my first Celestial (can't remember why I missed getting these in the prior events), and the 7th Galaxy habitat (missed the 5th). I don't like not having all the dragons, but as with others here, I thought the habitats should be a priority as the dragons are (theoretically) clone-able and might possibly come up as a sign-in gift in the future, or I suppose they may be back in a future event, too. Though...with the way this event went, I don't know how optimistic I should be about picking up missed past prizes in future events, as this time it wasn't even possible to obtain only the newest prizes with the event currency we were allocated.
All in all, not too thrilled as this mini-event thing is coming to a close; I found this game enjoyable as it was possible to complete the little goals I had for myself, but lately things seem less lucky and friendly. I simply must resign myself to having three hideous, hideous, tragic grey dumbbell blobs in my Dragonarium where the new Galaxy dragons' faces, and the cold, distant, condescending face of the elite and elusive Rosebud, should reside. I know what they think of me. I know how they inwardly scorn me and haughtily reject my every proclamation of firm intent to have them, my passionate pursuits. They wish I knew when to quit. And if I love them, I should let them go. Or whatever. Something.
On a side note, I keep having the same glitch I posted on the forum before, with all the letters and numbers disappearing. It's somewhat crucial to be aware of how much food you are feeding a dragon, those voracious riftlings in particular, lest you simultaneously engorge it beyond its jealous peers and empty your larder witlessly.

I’m frustrated we weren’t allowed to collect more stars for this Star Fall event, and everything seems sooo expensive. I will come away with much less from this event than I have in prior ones.. very disappointing. So, I’m having to be extremely judicious in my purchases for this event. In everyone’s learned and much-more-experienced opinion, would it be better to get the Weather Station or the Twilight Tower? I am leaning towards the latter since it will help with breeding that is time-specific. Does the Weather Station do anything that’s actually helpful?
As far as I know the Weather station just makes things fly/fall across the screen in game...it's there to make things pretty...or annoying depending upon who you ask

Get the twilight tower, for the reasons you mentioned. The weather station is great for controlling the theme of your park, but it's all just effects. It's also useful for old devices that can't keep up with all the new animations.

Grazie! And yes, as the Grand Nagus this kind of failure is unacceptable. I'll never make it to the Divine Treasury (despite that being my park's name, the real deal will be tough to access), let alone be able to circulate in regular society when every Ferengi in the quadrant knows my lobes have gone limp.

I will see your 600 gems, and raise you 1700! And 6 Geodes. If I count my baby parks twinning my main park, it’s 2400 gems and 9 Geodes Considering it took me until March to clone a Candlecrown for the pedestal in the co-op, I think I will be in for a VERY long slog to get both new dragons. Lol!
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

Your welcome I don't mind being bombarded. I think Backflip puts a limit on how many twins you actually receive while logged off. But if not, I can always delete the unwanted ones when I bother to go through and decide.

OK, I'm confused. How exactly are we able to collect any additional stardust today? Stars sprinkled around the park, nope. Breeding dragons, apparently not. Hatching dragons, doesn't seem to be happening. Collecting from friends, nope, gifting not even an option this time around. So why exactly is there a counter for daily stardust collecting today??? Anyone know the secret?

Right there with you. I bought both dragons. Worst event EVER! Why does it say we can collect stars today but I’m not getting any?
I don't know...my guess is it's a glitch (a relic from previous events when we could collect from the Gifts menu). I also noticed that the 7th Galaxy Island is no longer available (I can still see it, but it's shaded out).

If you check the starfall box in social menu, it states collection of new dust ends 14th, prize collection ends 15th. And the countdown timer under the dust box on the Vale screen is hours left til end of prize collection. spend up!

But then shouldn't it just be a timer? there is an actual bar, as if more dust can be collected. I agree that the words say dust collection ended with today's reset, but their code shouldn't have included a bar between the total dust count and the timer.
Am I missing something? The seventh Galaxy Island is available for 4 days but the event ends in 3 days....?
The event ends on May 14th, which often means it still runs on the reset of the 14th, and runs through the morning of the 15th. That gives us 3 full days to collect the new habitat. Then they've been giving us one single day recently to buy everything once the event ends, so 3 days + 1 while this new habitat is available. Basically they don't want us getting everything, despite all the double days! Without purchasing any dragons or eggs, and only getting the galaxy habitats, I'll have enough to get either the Meridiem or the Celestial habitat and then be short 3555 in getting the other.
so correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t we have until the end of today to be able to buy the 7th galaxy island too? I could have sworn that the timer was until tmw’s reset, yet it is no longer in the limited section of the StarFall market. And seeing how the price for the 5th galaxy island is 500 gems in the regular market, and the 6th galaxy island costs 600 gems.... its a very pricy (700! Gems!!) miscalculation for how long it was supposed to be available for... I personally will likely use a wish or wait until the summer/BEB event where (hopefully) it will return 🤞 but that’s still pretty misleading... 😕😠 Other than that, my event went very well. I managed to buy both additional hybrid habitats, bred a twin Starlight during twin weekend, then received both dragons as twins so I got the pedestals as well, and bought 5th and 6th galaxy islands, so I’m just missing the 7th. Not too bad, considering there was no way to get all the new content without paying this time :/
How did everyone else enjoy the return of the StarFall event? Did you enjoy the first one better, or this one? Was there anything that you wanted to get but couldn’t?
EDIT: the 7th island is back in the StarFall market, but considering it would cost me nearly $30 is stardust (or gems, they’re virtually the same), I’m sticking to either wish or another event. 😢
Ok, now that the event is drawing to an end, anyone want to guess if we will get game changes after the event? I'm guessing rift cooperative and rifted galaxy dragons (and BFS forgetting that we cannot breed them without having them!)
There's always the visiting wizard that has a galaxy dragon available for breeding, if they add that rift co-op. I'm going to assume that we would have received the co-op cave during the event if they had this on the radar at all. I'm excepting at most treasure Tuesday this week, and not much else. That way I can't be disappointed!
we also all started with 1 free galaxy dragon each, and the rarity depended on when you started playing vs. when the galaxy dragons were released. My first galaxy dragon was a Polarian, but I know some newer players who were given Eridinian, Nebula, or Celerulean. So it wouldn’t be too far fetched to believe that if/when we get Rifted galaxy dragons, that we would all be given 1 free rift galaxy dragon to breed with each other’s in this hypothetical rift CBC.

I think the best choice for converting leftover dust to cash is the Nova pedestal at 770 dust for 3.5 million cash. Second best (if you don't have 770) is the Midnight pedestal for 415 dust selling for 1.2 million cash.
Most of the galaxy dragons aren't worth very much, Nova and Singularity being the two main exceptions.
