Yes, what he said! Wish I had time to check here first, before wasting some of my resources, but it's all good. I must say, this is an interesting event. I'm breeding in the rift to fill the donation cards, it fills up so fast!

FYI: Twin Dragons you are gifted through the Co-Op CAN be used to fulfill your Donation requests.
All you have to do is hatch them and remember to hit the DONATE button.

I'm so meh about this event... and I'm going on vacation, so I'll probably just check in daily and get at least ONE new dragon and that will be it. I guess I've hit the wall with Dragonvale -- this event is too involved for me at this time and I'm OK with that and not having all the dragons anymore.

I think you’re right mom, this Event is gonna take a lot more time and attention.  So far, it seems as if the higher fail times for the Dragons required for the Bingo Card are gonna require us to spend Gems Because we have to keep keep breeding and breeding and breeding...I don’t know how the new comers are ever gonna catch up.

Before this Event, I was just 1 Dragon shy (T’shen) of ‘burnin’ again but now I need 6...just can’t seem to get caught up.  It’s the desire to have all the Dragons & Peds that keeps me going.

Exactly!  I had finally got my flame going again and BAM... new event that needs a lot more time and attention than I have to give it.

I don't begrudge - or judge - anyone who DOES have the time and patience. I just don't right now.  

I guess whenever they do a Bring Em All Back in the future, I'll try for these Surface dragons.

Ditto re enthusiasm. Quite nice really, just clearing, buying real estate and skins with magic, running a wee hexperiment to see if I get the event dragons during the rest of the year as fails or etc etc
not sure I like the blending of DVW with DV, and have no room for new dragons anyway, and that's fine...
enjoying the bingo game, but not being fooled into using all my E or gems...

So who are the special magical guests? I've seen Gardenia with her rose cart, and I think Lumi, also mostly light blue, but who else should I look for? Can someone post mug shots, er, screen shots? It's not easy with about 600 guests total in my park!

3 blue tangs - 30 Magic each
2 hammerhead sharks - 50 Magic each
1 elusive white whale - 100 Magic

Of course you didn’t because they’re not there.
But this is why BFS should hire me for my brilliant creative input.

I believe there are 4: Gardenia, Lumi, Noel and Whitbee. If you go to their page on the wiki, then there's an image of their visitor form tucked under the 'Appearances' tab.

its some sort of irony, that i'm having terrible luck breeding dragons for donation.

i've turned to only breeding in the rift for donation, and using my main cave/island
for trying to breed the surface dragons directly.
since they can be bred, and the kaiju is wicked expensive in the market.

i've been able to get a kaiju this way, though i probably burned about 200 gems doing it.

I really don't like the bingo cards. How are people clearing them so fast?
For my first 4 "element" spaces, I luckily had eggs sitting in incubation - leftovers from trying for various things during BEB.
But, of course, I had none of the specific dragons.
So, I started breeding for them. And even though they are supposedly "easy" ones - I've yet to get a Tree or a Scorch.
And I don't want to use gems to speed up the breeds.
So I'm just waiting around.

And I have real things I want to get in the Rift - like the current gemstone dragons, or, more importantly, the event dragons.
So I don't really want to waste E trying to breed a Plant.

Am I missing something?

I do love the new dragons and I'm happy we can breed for some of them, but getting those 4 specific dragons in the centre of the bingo card seems like an exercise in frustration and/or excessive gem-spending.
Because now I'm trying to breed for dragons I already have and failing (it's a little less frustrating when it's a NEW dragon).

I miss the "What Egg is This" game.

I'm imagining the mind set of the person/persons who came up with this event. I can hear someone mumbling to themselves in the BFS breakroom "Hmmm, so Dragonvale is a dragon breeding game is it? You want to breed dragons do you? Well, alrighty then". I can hear evil maniacal laughter reverberating off the walls.

Took up to 5E today to breed the four dragons on my card.... usually taking 3 tries to get the right dragon. I guess I could improve the odds by using two of the same dragon (I think I have a 2nd riftie of each at level 1).
