Total fudge... the party in paradise dragonvale is fudge. Why is there a limit to earning flowers I can't buy habitats and yet people can buy flowers and habitats and flowers with no limits...? Sound like PAY TO WIN BS.
i'm inclined to cut them a lot of slack, programming is hard. it makes me curious though, what their QA process is like.
As I retired techie, it really used to **** me off when they would roll out a new release full of bugs. Happened a lot right after HAS took over but lately, there haven’t been as many problems. I’m sure the HAS personnel have learned a lot about DV.
Now that Honuhonu and Humuhumu are listed as unavailable, I wonder if that means they are planned to be limited time dragons over the weekends. It says the event ends on October 2nd, which means there are three weekends during this event. One dragon per tier (2 tiers) and then one dragon each weekend would result in five new dragons...

Not this time around. The guests who give flowers are clones of the regular flag-bearers. They seem to come in shifts of 4.
I use my flag-bearers as a visual memory exercise and gave them names. Looking for them is a kind of roll call. At first I thought some were giving flowers instead of cash or gems, but then I saw that four of them were duplicates. (I counted). Then the pink margin appeared again after some 4 hours and there was another set.
Yesterday I decided to count. Yep, 4 in the second shift & I presume after. By that time you would've hit the limit.
BFS has eliminated the group bar, so no sense in playing further. UNLESS - you've started another bank & want to give people arena flowers.

yep I keep playing the arena after reaching my max so I can give flowers to folk dont forget folks what is available to partners in the arena is what you are breeding w in coop cave, or what you 💙 after setting up your coop cave preferred breeding dragon 😊, NOT what you select as your arena dragon...

And speaking of dragons, I am not liking the “cartoonish” look of many of the latest ones. The pedestals are stylish but the dragons are goofy. Was thinking: What do they have the ‘B Team’ handling DV now? Then this morning while trying to fit in one last sharing in the Coastline Colosseum before reset, this popped up:

I maxed out in 2 games at 1000 flowers at usual rate, disappointed that there wasn’t double flowers. Started a third game and it’s double flowers. Dang

The exact thing happened to me! I started collecting around 1:30ish EST, had been collecting for a good five minutes and was almost done, then got the message and the game crash.

POTM for the FIXME lol. It’s kinda sad to see BFS’s QA suffering like this, I wish the old crew I met at the Fan Faire was still there. Most have left, and you can definitely tell the difference. Things seem rushed, not beta tested, or like they are trying to meet deadlines that aren’t realistic. I think everyone would agree that we’d be happy with shorter events/new content, or longer spans between them if there weren’t so many glitches or errors (with the exception of the recent concurrent 3 day available dragons). Even the game is asking to get fixed now.

Remember that in the rift, time doesn't matter. The Sandbox (link provided in other posts) is organized with fewest and shortest fails appearing closer to the top, but time doesn't matter in the rift. So while the Sandbox would indicate that a Moon dragon and Trench is preferable, I used Moon plus Ooze in the rift because my Ooze dragon was a few levels higher than my Trench. Basically, you want a Moon-type dragon and a dragon with dark and water properties. Koala!

I get to max quickly, and the flag bearers keep reappearing. I'm just wondering if it is really worth it to hunt them all down every time.
I mean, I did get a Poison egg a few days ago - and that was really something /sarc.
Yes, I got an egg while maxed out. TwinRift Lunar Eclipse if I remember correctly. Most of my eggs have just been hybrids though.
The chance of getting something interesting per flag bearer is probably pretty low, especially if you factor in what percentage of the dragons in the game one actually would like from the eggs. Newer players with smaller parks will see a better return and less eye strain from hunting flags. I wish there was a better way to find them than the path mode...

I filled all my islands with blocks. So the visitors can only appear on the magic portal on each island (except they sometimes escape through the candy canes???) This makes hunting them down a bit faster. Although having so many block elements seems to cause problems with the zoom out feature - I think it is just too many objects on the screen.

Has anyone bred one of the event dragons? I can finally buy one with flowers and wondering if it’s worth going for a twin. I’m also still trying for Embossed in my main game so I also feel like I should use all breeding spaces for that dragon until I finally get him.

I have not breed one yet but it is possible and it is probably worth going for a twin
