I'm not sure how to reply, but ive noticed the same issue with breeding through the past few events/limited ones. It felt a lot harder to get limited once reaching max, but has been impossible now. It's really discouraging

I haven’t bred a single event dragon. The fact that I don’t really care bc this has been going downhill for so long, tells me my time is just about up w this game. It’s no longer exciting and fun. Such a shame.

So my progress meter was almost full last night, on the way to obtaining an Egg of Mystery. This morning it is at the beginning again, but I did not get an egg. Did anybody else notice this? I'm assuming this should have been the same, at least for Mountain Sun members. A note to BFS Support may be in order.

And now we all just sit here.....having some Starbucks........waiting on icy torrent to finish up.....maybe playing a little bit of fortnite 😏 (jk)....... snuggling with the koalas 🐨..... and maybe making theories that the ball in dragon drop is secretly a magnet.
We in Icy Torrent been struggling to delay our triumphant return, because, well, you know, Winter has come and we return with the Night King and the Army of the Dead.... but unstoppable odds and stunning skills mean prepare for the worst, we’ll be back *smf* sometime today it looks like.... get your dragonglass ready!

As an aside, do the daily reward eggs no longer give new dragons? Both parks got a Galaxy dragon recently - a twin rift something - and in both cases, it was one I already had. There were several other not owned rift galaxy dragons they could have picked.

I’m getting the same misses over and over and over. When I occasionally get the right breeding time, it’s the wrong dragon. So I’ve gotten zilch so far on these dragons. And I still need Daffodowndilly and Petunia.
I know I’m not the only one with this problem so..... I’m hosting a full-on pity party, complete with cheese and whine. Feel free to drop by and join in.

My meter showed the same as greggerman this morning as almost full and then no mystery egg. I am of the Mountain Sun also. I even turned off my fire 8 and rebooted. Maybe they only gives the eggs to people they like or those that have more than one park. Seems odd that some get and others don't. Does bf get that with out the players they have nothing-----no players, no game,no money in their pockets. There are many times that I have made purchases from market and the money was gone but nothing delivered. Sent message to bf but nothing was done. To bad this has gotten to be a nerve racking thing. I haven't been playing as long as some but it's gotten to where it's no longer fun like when I started.🐨💤

The introduction of Galaxy Rift dragons has interfered with the Daily Rewards Galaxy Mystery Egg and its ability to offer twin versions of dragons you don’t own. This is because for a limited time players were able to purchase Galaxy Mystery Eggs from the Rift store. The order you received the Galaxy dragon was: (1) regular version (if you didn’t own the dragon), (2) Rift version, (3) Rift twin. There was no regular twin because these dragons were exclusively for the Rift, and the only way to obtain Galaxy dragons with no Rift co-op. As a result, the Daily Rewards system does not differentiate between twins and Rift twins; it recognises them as the same thing — just a twin. If you have all the Galaxy dragons and a twin version of each (either regular and/or Rift), you will only receive a random Rift twin from the Daily Rewards Galaxy Mystery Egg. The random Rift twin should have a trait you don’t own (so that’s new), but you won’t get a missing twin or Rift twin to complete your collection. If you’d rather have a twin or a Rift twin that you don’t own, I’d recommend emailing Backflip for an exchange.

Icy Torrent should stand in defiance and refuse to complete Water, so everyone has to wait an entire year for colour to be restored to the Vale.
If I could switch Houses, Icy Torrent is obviously the way to go.

Well, a number of things just happened...
Looks like Icy Torrent finally got it together, so all of the color is back! The event island is whole and it looks like we got 10 additional tries for Gardenia's Gamery...for some reason.
A new prize has been added to the Limited tier: The Prismatic Pantheon, which appears to allow you to manipulate colors in the Vale in order to more easily find visitors, dragons or certain decorations. And for the bargain basement price of 15,000 roses. Yikes! I'll have to have a bit more breeding luck to be able to afford that one!
Mountain Sun's missing Egg of Mystery has shown up in my gifts section, so I didn't have to bother with BFS Support.
