totally true! Has anyone verified that the 225-gem habitat doesn't count toward your total?

I bought the 2 before the event started and only have 1 slot open which it did not use.

Arriving on a Pegasus makes you totally acceptable! Rendezvous at the Burcadian cave just before dawn, with marsupial squeakers, eucalyptus leaves and very strong nets. BYO containers of distractor Marblewings and Glowwingtails (🤔) to release at dawn, then.... we swoop!😈

Definitely doesn’t count towards the cap - I bought one before the event started & the other this morning (ever hopeful that I will breed dragons to put in it 😉) and they did not count towards the habitat count.


Meantime I wish I could work out how to breed rifty chrysalis dragons without any 🥺

I think they went up in the amount of eggs for some breeds in the Burcadian Cave. Yesterday evening I received 66+100 for Bogberry and then this morning received 100+100 for Muse.

I’d like to join too (also please make this an official whine, no koalas for me ☹️).  This time change stuff gets me every time, are we meeting at dawn in New Zealand or Colorado?  Or do I need to set my twilight  tower before my next breed in the CBC (can’t hurt can it?)

Well I think the earlybird breeding boost is over (atleast for me). Spent no more than 50 gems and got 3/5 new dragons. Fast forward 500 gems trying to get Ditto/Violetta, nothing. Generally I'm noticing not as many successful cloning attempts on facebook groups etc... too, for example no more "I breed all 5 or 6 new dragons via gem speeding up" type of posts. This makes me think maybe they made the new dragons too easy to clone initially and later amended the rates. Anyone else noticing this?

I think it was just all based on luck, and those who get lucky post often at first. It always seems this way for each event. If you looked at my account you might think I was lucky too and helps prove how easy they were, but I ended up spending 1000 gems for the first 3 dragons.

I did just finally clone a Violetta. I kept getting 18 hours but they'd end up being Permafrosts. Now I got 18 hours in the cave again and I checked my 'Social->Invite Friends->Change Icon', where I'm now seeing Violetta as an option for an icon. So that confirms I got it! If it's a new dragon then it gets added to your icon list at the time of the breed.

Nice hint about checking for new dragon cloning/breeding outcomes.
... AND if you are right about that, I got a Violetta too! (Got a Kairos in 4 hrs to pop it out).

You're right that's usually the case with these sorta things but with these larger Facebook groups (30,000+ members) there will be a constant stream of posts of people getting dragons cause there's so many members. I can often gauge how easy something is to breed because the sample size is so large and I'm very active on these. Many people speed breeding all 5 in the first day is not common. Also if you remember during Om Noms, the evolutions were really easy to clone after you got 1 via evolution. Infact during that event, I got at least 1 of every evolution and their pedestals in Twin forum via co-op. That never happens when I put a regular or even popular dragon up in co-op.

To add to my previous post, I got a ton of Twin Rhinotorchs and Faux I got during the first 2 days. After that nothing. Makes me think it's more than simple RNG. We will never truly know lol

Yes, Quil, great tip in looking at the Change Icon menu.  I just checked after my most recent 18 hour breed...and it looks like my Violetta is on the way!  I knew there had to be some koalas around somewhere!

Well my whine worked. I bred a Rhino and a Faux dragon, after I bought the Violetta. I have been alternating them in the coop for those who need them. Send me a pm if you need a friend invite.

The koalas are definitely visiting my park today!  After getting my Violetta (thanks, Amidala!), I bred a Busby on my first try.  I’ll have to remember to leave out a few extra batches of eucalyptus leaves for my furry friends!

I’m going to leave my Gildamane up for now as it seems none of my other friends are currently sharing it and I see lots of Violettas.

i have still only only managed a Rhino, so there is a deadly dearth of 🐨🐨 in NZ, ŵell, in my park anyhoo
trying so so hard to feel joy for all of those Valers with ALL of them... failing, oh I am so flawed 😂
will have to buy the Violet one I fear, and then start trying for any other...ANY OTHER ...i even have a new hab specially for them, I thought, ‘build it and they will come, Kiwi, they will’...not

Sorry Kiwichris.  I think maybe some of the NZ koalas are hanging out with the possums in our woods.  We had a neighbour's peacock do that once too.

I've managed to get Rhino, Faux and Ditto so far - still working on Violetta.

I'll try to tempt the koalas out with some walnuts and see if I can send them your way.

I'm getting this too! BFS might have started doubling the base amount of eggs from the Burcadian Cave during doubles, while keeping the first-time bonus at 100. I could be wrong, but I don't think this would affect our strategy too much, since the base amount of eggs is dependent on the breeding time.

actually, never mind. Just got correct timer for violetta in coop (thank you LadyJ!) there’s always a chance that baby polar bears have put on koala masks and snuck in, but still I am very happy 😊

You and I can still be in the gang as my whine hasn’t worked yet.  Would palm leaves work? I can’t find eucalyptus around here, must be why there are no koalas here.  That and it keeps snowing, no koala would hangout in the snow.   The news people have to stop talking about “Winter is coming/ is here”, they are scaring off all the koalas.
