I've been able to clone two of the event dragons (Riptide and Quantum) in two of my baby parks (neither of which have any spellform pieces). So it would look like cloning the dragons in the Co-Op is theoretically possible. No luck in my main park...

Well, I am going to be without WiFi and cell service for a couple of days starting in an hour or so...which means I will probably miss the limited, lol. eh. But, to my gifting friends, I will not be able to send gifts until Friday at the earliest. I'm really sorry.

My alt has been having much better luck with the costume pieces, I've got like three completed and several on everything else. Much farther away on my main, who has played a lot more and has only one complete.
Has anyone with multiple dragons determined yet if we need more than 1 costume piece?

Yes, we need more than one piece for duplicates. I have a complete set for Quantum Conjured, but only 2 duplicate pieces. I applied it to the none twin version, then got a twin. I just tried to apply it again and it won’t let me...it just highlights the pieces that have a duplicate lol.
So, keep duplicate pieces, lol.

For those who haven't collected any dragons with costume pieces yet, here's a quick rundown of how it works:
You can select your dragon in the costume menu from the building, or by clicking the costume button on one of the dragons. You then see the two pages of their various costumes / pieces, where you can select any of the ones you own. You can mix and match costumes, and do not need the entire costume to wear a piece. For example, my Quantum dragon has the tail piece from Conjured and the head piece from Organic, and I can wear both pieces.
Wearing the costume piece changes the look of the dragon, you see them wearing that item. He's wearing a black crown now and has a pinkish tail fin. It lights up the piece you're using in the costume page, but the count does not go down. I'd like to confirm that multiple dragons can use the same piece, or if they require a second piece to use it. It would be good to know if we can sell off extra pieces for magic.
If you want to turn off the glowing crown on your dragon, the button you usually use has been replaced with the costume button. In the costume menu, there's a crown button at the bottom that will turn it on and off.

A single Spellform set or piece can only be applied to one dragon at a time. For example, if you have two Riptide Dragons, but only one Spellform set, you can only apply the Spellform to one of your Riptide Dragons.
However, you can mix and match the individual Spellform pieces, so you could apply the head and tail piece to one of the dragons, and then apply the wings and legs to the other dragon.
So the costumes work sort of like the island themes

Collecting Magic from Tolzar and after watching the first one, the game kinda ‘hiccuped’ and told me I earned 100 Magic, without me even tapping on the X to end it. I watched the 2nd ad, touched the X at the end, it told me I earned 100 Magic and then, Tolzar’s helicopter blew up, like it usually does after the 3rd ad, leaving me with only 200 Tolzar Magic.
Then, going after my free Gem in treasure...I haven’t had one in 2 days. Did they quit those?
I tell ya, they can’t put out even one Event that doesn’t screw up in one way or another.

^^THIS!^^ I feel your pain! Forcing yourself to play a game that used to bring so much fun and stress relief is frustrating. They need to increase the odds for pieces and dragons. They also need to get someone who can at least get the proper splash screen loaded. After the last event was over we still had that event’s splash screen. I kept waiting for the beloved Wizard and Plant dragon to return. It showed up the day before this event started. I sometimes will now get this event’s splash screen but more often am getting Wizard and Plant. Can anyone over there even handle the simplest tasks? Maybe it is time to tax and fine corporations every time they frustrate their customers. We’ll all be rich!

I only play Name that Egg, because I stink at Dragon Drop and Magic Tap. Here’s what I’ve learned: you have all the time in the world to figure out which egg it is, unless you’re going to get chests at the end, in which case you get the 5-second timer. Don’t panic, because there are only treats and dragoncash in the 5 free tries. Also, if you spend 5 gems and get magic, it doesn’t add to your daily total, but goes right into your total so it’s truly ‘extra’ magic.

It also depends on how many dragons you collect and want to display. For example, I collect 1 normal, twin, rift, and rift twin. Except my twins are usually in the hibernation caves, especially in the rift. Given the limits of the rift now, half my rift normal collection is also hidden away.
There are two costumes for each dragon. If you have two dragons and want to have each display one costume, you just need one of each piece. It might be fun to have more than one and show off more dragons, but given the space limitations in game and the need for more magic, I'll probably sell off extra pieces.

looks like it wasn't planned to make Armament visible that early. It is not in the dragonarium either

Well surely the world must be coming to an end when Pollyanna has gone dark. I agree with you, this catching of lottery chests with a huge nothing inside, isn’t really my kind of fun either. I wish events were like they used to be, with actual breedable dragons. This game has been such a bore for months now, with no luck whatsoever in my main park, if it weren’t for that testing park I might just already have quit.

So behind the scenes, the Armament dragon was added to the magic market but the release flag on the dragon was not set. That's why you see him available in the limited market, but all of the rest of the code keeps him out of the dragonarium, rewards, and costume shop until the 'release' is set correctly. I'm guessing he was supposed to come out tomorrow, the usual Friday limited release time. Everything is in place, when they flip the flag you'll see him everywhere. Hopefully they just fix it on their end and release him tonight.

Maybe we’ll get lucky and Armament will turn out to be a cross dresser who can wear any of the other dragons’ outfits.

BTW, I have not had much luck so far with this event, either, and am feeling a bit defeated.
