Bummer it was a false "last day alert for claim", I wanted to try to get one/two of the twins I needed without using a claim (could of used it to get rift variants). Either way I have blue fire again now, this time with a 100% gold dragonarium:D Great event overall. Now to spend the 85-90,000 left over on extra themes haha

I am down to only needing one as well. Dazzle eludes me. I have got several regulars but mostly party dragons keep popping up.
I missed a week due to internet problems, but from the sounds of it I still should have had a lot more in event currency. Or is the amount of currency based on the level of your park? Because I keep mine at a low level to avoid the crashes that happen with higher level parks.

Could you please post a link or screenshot from BFS’s FB page? I emailed BFS last week and they confirmed claims for eggs must be made before October 7th, 11.00 AM MDT (before the event concludes at reset tomorrow). Triple Flower Day will also end at this time. They did not say the Runic Breeding Caves will disappear BEFORE bonus day ends or the event ends. I don’t want players to feel panicked or rushed, thinking they have to make a decision about claims before today’s reset or before the event concludes if they don’t have to. Thank you so much for your help!

Why can’t Bathmat apply to a Dazzle? Does the sun/moon override the other traits? Doesn’t make sense to me.
It’s because they’re epics. 'Bathmat' can’t level up epics.

I don’t think it has anything to do with park levels, it’s more about how often you can play, and for this event, how many dragons you have and if you have two of each. Whenever there’s no cap on collecting event currency, players who play frequently end up with a lot.
Missing a week can definitely set you back, especially if you skipped several double days and a triple day. There were days, like yesterday, when I was too busy to play much, so I missed out on Flowers (alas, my schedule always clashes with a triple day), but if I missed a week, that would’ve certainly reduced my total.

The best item to purchase from the event store for DC is the Monte pedestal. Yep, that’s right, a brand new, freshly released dragon pedestal. It costs 845 Flowers and sells for 4,320,000 DC, which is merely 5x better than letting the game convert your Flowers to DC at a rate of 1,000 DC/1 Flower.
You won’t get rich with this event, but you will have lots of new, glowing dragons to keep your warm company.

What I meant is we always have a few days to buy things when the event ends. The event island disappears but we can use our flowers. This time the runic caves will disappear with the event island. I don’t want anyone to think oh I’ve got more time for my claims. You can’t use a claim if the runic caves are gone.

So I’m just sitting here enjoying some coffee and click back into the game because I had a breed finishing and figured I’d get the flowers for starting a new one. I had turned color back on to enjoy the game, and what do I find..... a whole new compliment of flag bearers. In other words, if you cleared them all before, they are back again and you can last minute collect more flowers.

Really liked this event! Loved the runic caves because it awarded us free dragons (even without buying rune stones) and it was fun to get successful breeds there that awarded us some hefty points. Thought the new eggs were gorgeous & the dragons stunning ....BF really really has some talented designers! Didn’t have to use my precious gems unless i wanted to ... was up to me how many runic caves i kept up with... didn’t have to sacrifice a dragon by turning it into something else ... can’t think of anything i didn’t like except perhaps lasting too long... i would like fewer events & shorter ones...
Last night had starfall lighting on while i was hunting for hidden meteors & flag bearers and the game looked absolutely gorgeous! All the amazing colors & lights! Such a fabulous & fun game!

This has been one of the best events we've had in a long time. I would have liked it to be a little shorter, maybe by a week. But aside from that I had a great time during the event. Everything is gorgeous, the music is awesome and the dragons are beautiful. Can't say enough good things about this event.
